Lil Wayne Four Children Four Different Women

Lil Wayne Four Children Four Different Women, Lil Wayne’s allusion to Emmitt Till in his lyrics represents more than stupidity. It represents how normalized the culture of cruelty has become and how it wraps itself in a popular culture that is increasingly racist, misogynistic, and historically illiterate.

This is neoliberalism’s revenge on young people in that it elevates profits over justice and the practice of moral witnessing and in doing so creates artists and other young people who mimic a racist and authoritarian politics and are completely clueless about it...reported

Celebrity culture is the underside of the new illiteracy in America, the soft edge of fascism with its unbridled celebration of wealth, narcissism, and glamor. My comments on Emmitt Till in the beginning of my book, “Stormy Weather.

Katrina and the Politics of Disposability” point to a different use of memory, one that engages in moral witnessing and tries to prevent justice from dying in each of us, in the public sphere, and in our relations with others. It is worth repeating as a counter narrative to Lil Wayne’s complicity with the modes of lyrical fascism that now circulate in the media like a poisonous toxin.

What was left of Emmet Till arrived home in Chicago in September 1955. Determined to make visible the horribly mangled face and twisted body of the child as an expression of racial hatred and killing, Mamie Till, the boy’s mother, insisted that the coffin, interred at the A.A. Ranier Funeral Parlor in the South Side of Chicago, be left open for four long days.

While mainstream news organizations ignored the horrifying image, Jet magazine published an unedited photo of Till’s face taken while he lay in his coffin. Shaila Dawn points out that “[m]utilated is the word most often used to describe the face of Emmett Till after his body was hauled out of the Tallahatchie River in Mississippi. Inhuman is more like it: melted, bloated, missing an eye, swollen so large that its patch of wiry hair looks like that of a balding old man, not a handsome, brazen 14-year-old boy.” The Jet photos not only made visible the violent effects of the racial state; they also fuelled massive public anger, especially among blacks, and helped to launch the Civil Rights Movement.[1]

We live at a time when heroes of the civil rights generation such Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, Jr. and Angela Davis are now replaced by business tycoons such as Lloyd Blankfein, Jamie Dimon, and Henry Paulson.

The older pioneers sacrificed in order to alleviate the suffering of others, while the new “celebrity heroes” of the media drawn from corporate culture live off the suffering of others. Celebrity culture is a cesspool of greed, over paid financial looters, and spineless media pundits who reproduce the market-driven and politically paralysing sexist and racist grammars of suffering, state violence, and disposability.

Maybe Lil Wayne should read about the history of the civil rights movement before he fashions lyrics that sound as if they were written by the racists that killed this young man. Maybe the American public should go further and ask what kind of country creates people like Lil Wayne and what can be done to create a formative culture that would stop this kind of racism and sexism in its tracks, rather than reward it.

Ray lewis six children four different women

Ray Lewis Six Children Four Different Women, Ray Lewis should not expect a retirement muffin basket from Anna Burns Welker.

Following her husband's defeat yesterday at the hands of Lewis and the Baltimore Ravens, Mrs. Welker took to Twitter and tore apart the future Hall of Famer, writing of the linebacker.reported

"Proud of my husband and the Pats. By the way, if anyone is bored, please go to Ray Lewis' Wikipedia page. 6 kids 4 wives. Acquitted for murder. Paid a family off. Yay. What a hall of fame player! A true role model!"

Welker is referring to the fact that Lewis has six children by four different woman - and was charged with murder in 2000 for his role in a stabbing that resulted in two dead bodies.

As part of a plea deal, however, the charge was dropped and Lewis did not spend any time in jail.

Ironically, following New England's loss in last year's big game, Tom Brady's wife (Giselle... something or other) tore into Wes Welker for his dropping of a key four quarter pass.

Personal trash talk aside, who do you think will win the Super Bowl?

Larry King five children by three women

Larry King five children by three women, King has been married eight times, to seven different women. He married high-school sweetheart Freda Miller in 1951 at age 18. The union ended the following year at the behest of their parents, who reportedly had the marriage annulled. King was later briefly married to Annette Kaye who gave birth to his son, Larry Jr., in November 1961. King did not meet Larry Jr. until the son was in his thirties. Larry Jr. and his wife, Shannon, have three children.

In 1961, King married his third wife, Alene Akins, a Playboy bunny at one of the magazine’s eponymous nightclubs. The couple had a son Andy in 1962, and divorced the following year. In 1963, King married his fourth wife, Mary Francis “Mickey” Stuphin, who divorced King. He remarried Akins, with whom he had a second child, Chaia, in 1969. The couple divorced a second time in 1972. In 1997, Dove Books published a book written by King and Chaia, Daddy Day, Daughter Day. Aimed at young children, it tells each of their accounts of his divorce from Akins.

On September 25, 1976, King married his fifth wife, math teacher and production assistant Sharon Lepore. The couple divorced in 1983. In the mid-1980s King dated actress Angie Dickinson and even had her as a guest on his Mutual Radio broadcast.

King met businesswoman Julie Alexander in summer 1989, and proposed to her on the couple’s first date, on August 1, 1989. Alexander became King’s sixth wife on October 7, 1989, when the two were married in Washington, D.C. The couple lived in different cities, however, with Alexander in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and King in Washington, D.C., where he worked. The couple separated in 1990 and divorced in 1992. He became engaged to actress Deanna Lund in 1995, after five weeks of dating, but they never married.

In 1997, he married his seventh wife, Shawn Southwick, born in 1959 as Shawn Oro Engemann, a former singer and TV host, in King’s Los Angeles, California, hospital room three days before King underwent heart surgery to clear a clogged blood vessel. The couple has two children: Chance, born March 1999, and Cannon, born May 2000. He is stepfather to Danny Southwick. On King and Southwick’s 10th anniversary in September 2007, Southwick boasted she was “the only [wife] to have lasted into the two digits”. On April 14, 2010, both Larry and Shawn King filed for divorce, but have since stopped the proceedings.

In July 2009, King appeared on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, where he told host O’Brien about his wishes to be cryonically preserved upon death, as he had revealed in his book My Remarkable Journey. In December 2011, preceding a CNN Special on the topic, the Kings had a special dinner with friends Conan O’Brien, Tyra Banks, Shaquille O’Neal, Seth MacFarlane, Jack Dorsey, Quincy Jones and Russell Brand where his intent to do so was reiterated, among other topics that were discussed.

Shawn Kemp at least seven children with six women

Shawn Kemp at least seven children with six women, Shawn Kemp at least seven children with six women, Kemp had at least seven children with six women and lost most of his fortune paying child support.

His post-NBA life has included a failed comeback attempt, and multiple drug possession arrests.

As of 1998, Kemp had fathered at least 7 children. This number is alleged to be even higher, resulting in Kemp being an easy target for commentators’ jokes.

His oldest son, Shawn Kemp Jr., committed to play basketball for Auburn University on November 11, 2009. Shawn Jr, a graduate of Cherokee High School in Canton, Georgia is a 6’9″ 220 pound center.

He was named as an alternate in the 2009 McDonald’s High School All-American Classic. Shawn Jr was heavily recruited by Florida, Alabama, Indiana, and Arkansas. Kemp Jr., did not qualify academically and did not play for Auburn during the 2010-11 season. In 2011, Kemp Jr. signed with the University of Washington.

Shawn Kemp appeared on the 2009 season premiere of Pros vs. Joes.

Kemp is the owner of a sports bar in Lower Queen Anne, Seattle, named Oskar’s Kitchen.

Larry Johnson five children with four women

Larry Johnson five children with four women, According to Sports Illustrated, Larry Johnson of the Knicks is supporting five children by four women, including two he has with his wife, and Shawn Kemp of the Cavaliers, who is not married, has fathered seven children. Other NBA players who have been the subject of paternity-related lawsuits include Patrick Ewing, Juwan Howard, Scottie Pippen, Jason Kidd, Stephon Marbury, Hakeem Olajuwon and Gary Payton, as well as Larry Bird, who is now the coach of the Pacers, and current NBC game analyst Isiah Thomas.

In other sports, baseball’s Gary Sheffield and Juan Gonzalez, along with former greats Jim Palmer, Steve Garvey and Pete Rose, have been hit with paternity suits. The NFL names include Andre Rison and Alonzo Spellman; hockey, Mark Messier; boxing, Oscar de la Hoya; and tennis, Roscoe Tanner.

Sports Illustrated’s Sandy Bailey joins us to discuss the story.

Paul Crane: Sandy, before we lay this at the doorstep of athletes only, how much does this problem mirror that of society as a whole?

Sandy Bailey: I think it is a problem in society. As you pointed out, 32 percent of children in this country are born out of wedlock and that’s up tremendously–it was only 18 percent in 1980. So it is a problem in society but, by all the anecdotal evidence, it is an even greater problem in sports.

PC: And why is the incidence of this problem so much higher in the NBA than in other sports?

SB: That’s very hard to say. We suggested a few possible reasons. If the athletes view that there are a lot of women out there sort of looking for them, it’s certainly true that NBA athletes are much more identifiable than athletes in other sports. For one thing, they’re taller–these guys are 7-feet tall in many cases. They’re also athletes whose faces are very familiar to us; they don’t wear hats like baseball players, they don’t wear helmets like football players. They’re very visible. They have a lot of free time on their hands with their roadtrips and also their salaries are the highest. As far as exactly why, it’s very difficult to say.

PC: This should be such a private and personal issue–should we really care about the private lives of sports figures?

SB: Whether we should or shouldn’t, I think we do, in this country in particular, care very, very much about celebrities in general. And I do think that in these particular cases you’re talking about children–we’re trying to look at the impact that this has on their lives, we’re looking at the impact this has on the women involved and also the guys. In numerous cases we found, some of these activities reach a point where they impact the actual on-the-court, on-the-field performance. We talk about one NFL player, Dave Meggett–one of his paternity cases reached a point where the New England Patriots had to have one of their executives work with him and Meggett was served with papers before a game. You don’t think that impacts the team?

Chad Ochocinco four children with three women

Chad Ochocinco four children with three women, Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco are getting closer to inking a reality show of their own. The series would be based on the couple cohabitating with all of their children, his, hers and theirs – and the drama that ensues.

Chad has four kids – with three women – and Evelyn has one daughter. Surprisingly, sources say there’s little drama between Big Poppa O and his ladies… as long as the checks keep coming. The show would focus on the trials of blended families, such as spending time with all of the children, a highly relatable topic due to the increased number of step families.

On this season of “Basketball Wives” we’ll follow Ev’s journey with in vitro as she tries to get sperminated with twin sons. If the latter happens the networks will likely bite on the couple’s spin off. “They’re definitely fan favorites,” a television insider reports. “There’s a good chance that it will happen.”

So what will living in a house will “Mama E” be like? Will she teach her youngsters to slap box frenemies or toss their bottles at foes? Only time will tell.

Bruce jenner six children three wives

Bruce Jjenner Six Biological Children Three Wives, Bruce Jenner Six Biological Children Three Wives, He's an Olympic champion and the most senior member of the family. But Bruce Jenner, 63, was bumped out of his front row seat at the LA Clippers game on Christmas Day to make way for the arrival of Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend Kanye West.

The family were watching Khloe Kardashian's husband Lamar Odom on the court as his team defeated the Denver Nuggets 112-100 at the Staples Centre.Bruce was initially seated next to his wife Kris, 57, in prime position but moved a row back when his step-daughter and her rapper beau made a late entrance.

Kris didn't seem at all concerned and spent the game cheering away with Khloe on one side and her favourite child Kim on the other.  The matriarch and her husband of 21 years have recently been hit by claims their marriage is on the rocks.

But Kris has dismissed divorce rumours, branding them 'crazy'.  She said in November: 'You just have to take it in stride. Life is so good right now. We can laugh about it. We're strong. We've been such a tight-knit family for so long. To keep addressing [the rumours] every single time just gets old.'

Meanwhile, Kim, 32, and Kanye, 35, put on a front row show of affection, holding hands and touching throughout the game. The pair, who were marking their first Christmas together as a couple, were wearing matching leather trousers and casual tops for the match.  Khloe, 28, showed her support for her husband with an LA Clippers cap.  The family had hosted a big party at the family home on Christmas Eve.

Dwight Howard four children with four women

Dwight Howard four children with four women, NBA star Dwight Howard is expecting his fifth baby, reported Black Media Scoop on April 23. Sources say that Howard already has four children with four different women, although he has remained quite mum on the baby situation, trying instead to focus attention on his NBA basketball career with the LA Lakers.

The news that Howard is expecting yet another child surprises some fans, as he has long professed his Christian faith, pledging to "raise the name of God within the league and throughout the world." This leaves some fans wondering whether multiple children from different mothers runs contrary to his professed Christian values.

The 28-year-old LA Lakers basketball star was drafted in 2004 by the Orlando Magic. He was traded to the LA Lakers in 2012 and has been working to carve out a niche for himself amongst several superstars on the team, including Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol. Howard has admitted the need to get into better shape and has publicly acknowledged attempts to do that.

The LA Lakers are currently in the playoffs. With Kobe Bryant out of the lineup after an Achilles injury and subsequent surgery, they are looking to other players to step up and fill his big shoes.

Evander Holyfield nine children with six women

Evander Holyfield nine children with six women, I lied when I said Jasmine Guy’s drama was going to be the non-child-support-paying daddy story for the week. Evander Holyfield has one-upped the actress’s ex-husband to the tenth power — literally — with the child support foolishness he has going on.

In some ways, it really shouldn’t be a surprise that Evander is behind on child support — if he ever paid at all — given the fact that in 2008 his home was being auctioned off due to foreclosure. Plus another of his baby mamas, Toi Irvin, the mother of his 10-year-old son, filed a suit not long after for non-payment of two month’s worth of child support which totaled $6,000.

And on top of that, a Utah landscaping firm also wants $550,000 for services the boxer never paid. That debt is pretty on par with what Evander owes to the mother of his now-grown daughter as TMZ reports it: As TMZ first reported, the GA. Dept. of Human Services went after Holyfield because he owed $372,097.40 in support for his 18-year-old daughter, Emani Holyfield. But according to court docs filed recently in Georgia, that amount swelled to $563,900.91.

Evander was held in contempt and ordered to immediately fork over $2,950 a month to clear the debt. Holyfield got a big head start by cutting a check for $17,700 … knocking his debt down to a cool $546,200.91. But the payment plan is just the beginning … the judge ordered that a percentage of Holyfield’s income be earmarked to pay down the debt. Creepy Evander’s daughter has the same name as Jasmine Guy’s, just spelled differently. What’s even scarier, though, is the fact that Evander has at least 11 known children.

If he owes this much for one of them and has already been put on blast for slipping a couple of months on another one, it probably won’t be long before nine other women come calling. He may never see a paycheck again.

Travis henry 11 children with 10 women

Travis Henry 11 Children With 10 Women, Travis needs to find him a real job. The NFL isn’t calling. Vick and Plaxico are bad examples and are not remotely like his situation. It is over and he just needs to deal with it...Reported.Reported.

“In my time away, people would know who I was and talk in a disappointed way like I threw away my career,” Henry told Andy Villamarzo of the Pascoe Tribune (via Tim Graham of the Buffalo News). “It just haunts me when I think about it. I see guys like Vick and Burress and say ‘Why can’t that be me?’ “

”People make mistakes,” Henry said. ”It’s what you do after to get back up. I just want to show young kids that people make mistakes and you can get up and you can fight. You can’t ever let anyone tell you ‘You can’t’ because, trust me, a lot people told me that being reinstated was going to be impossible.”

I give him credit for working hard, but he needs to become a motivational speaker for NFL players on what not to do off the field.

The pair split when Federline met and married pop star Britney Spears, with whom he also has two children, sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. Federline recently welcomed a daughter, Jordan Kay, with former professional volleyball player Victoria Prince.

Maybe Kevin Federline should consider revamping his name to Keven “Fertile”ine, considering he is now expecting his fifth child with girlfriend Victoria Prince.

This will be his first child with his current girlfriend of two years reports People.

That’s five children with three women for Kevin. How do his other baby mamas feel about woman number three?

People talked to Shar Jackson on Tuesday during the Silver Jeans Co, launching in California about the Federline- Prince situation. She told them, “I’ve got my own family to worry about, I can’t really be worried about what’s going on with anybody else. Good for them, and of course I wish them well.”

So his ex is ok with the new baby mama, but how does the new baby mama feel about the other babies?

Daily Mail says that Prince has been bonding with Federline’s children. She even goes to support Federline and his son during their Little League games. Sean plays, Federline coaches, and Victoria cheers- what a happy family!

Marshall Faulk Six Children With Four Women

Marshall Faulk Six Children With Four Women, Marshall Faulk $15,000 child support; fathered six children with four women: Marshall Faulk must not have been paying attention during Kurt Warner’s annual “Just because Jesus loves you, doesn’t mean he approves of nailing every Cheesecake Factory waitress with a botched boob job and paternity lawyer on speed dial,” speech.

Faulk, whose child support payments rival his career yardage, joined the NFL’s “frequent impregnator program” in the late 1990s and has been one of its most valuable members ever since...reported

His commitment to casual sex and inability to decipher the complexities of condom use make him a first ballot shoe-in for the “Is That Kid Mine?” Hall of Fame.

The names of all the children of football player Marshall Faulk is not listed. However, he does have a son named Marshall William Faulk, Jr., born in 1995, to Faulk and his ex-girlfriend Candace Patton. He has 6 children with at least four women.

Clint eastwood seven children 5 different women

Clint eastwood seven children 5 different women, Clint Eastwood Seven Children 5 Different Women, Cline Eastwood + seven children + five women,Clint Eastwood, the legendary actor and now highly acclaimed director is 80 if you can believe it. He seems to be 80 strong years though and is still at the height of his game.

Clearly his healthy lifestyle, which has always included exercise, no smoking and healthy eating, is paying off. However there is another aspect of his lifestyle that isn’t always looked on as favorable and that is his reputation as a constant womaniser and his numerous affairs.

In all these years he has only married twice so maybe we should not be so quick to judge! Age may have slowed that down but it doesn’t stop the fact that he has now fathered at least seven known children by five separate women.

Eastwood’s first child was Kimber who was born on June 17th 1964 to dancer Roxanne Tunis, Eastwood was with her whilst on a separation from his first wife Maggie Johnson. Eastwood only publicly acknowledged Kimber in 1996.

He got reconciled with his wife Maggie and went on to father two children with her. Kyle born on May 19th 1968 and Alison born May 22nd 1972.

Whilst in a long term relationship with a regular co-star Sondra Locke Eastwood entered another affair with flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves. Despite two abortions Clint and Sondra never had any children. Clint and Jacelyn had two children together. Scott who was born on March 21, 1986 and Kathryn who was born February 2, 1988.

Coming into the 90′s Eastwood wasn’t done having kids! He was in a relationship with another co-star Frances Fisher and they had one child named Francesca who was born on 7th August 1993.

Eastwood’s most recent child comes from his 2nd wife Dina Ruiz, an anchor woman he met in 1993 and who he married in 1996. They are still married and had daughter Morgan on December 12th 1996.

I guess seeing as he has not fathered anymore children since the 90s and he is still married shows that he may have slowed down and maybe we won’t be seeing anymore Eastwood’s running around. He only has two grandchildren at present, which is surprising considering the seven kids!

Oscar De la Hoya 5 Children Four Women

Oscar De la Hoya 5 Children Four Women, Boxer Oscar De La Hoya, also known as "The Golden Boy," was born in Montebello, Los Angeles, California on February 4, 1973. De La Hoya won a gold medal at the 1992 Olympics at the age of 17, and went on to win 10 world titles in six different weight classes. De La Hoya was one of the most popular boxers in the history of the sport, generating hundreds of millions of dollars from his pay-per-view fights before his retirement in 2009.

Born on February 4, 1973, in Montebello, Los Angeles, California, Oscar De La Hoya's parents moved to the United States from Mexico before he was born. Boxing was a common thread in De La Hoya's family: His grandfather was an amateur fighter in the 1940s, and his father boxed professionally in the 1960s.

Oscar began boxing at age 6. His idol was the Olympic gold medalist Sugar Ray Leonard, who became a celebrity after the 1976 Summer Olympics before going professional; Leonard became the first boxer to win titles in five divisions, from welter to light heavyweight.

At age 15, De La Hoya won the national Junior Olympic 119-pound title; he took home the 125-pound title the next year. In 1990, he won the national Golden Gloves title in the 125-pound division and was the youngest U.S. boxer at that year's Goodwill Games, winning a gold medal. The joy of victory was tempered by the news that his mother was terminally ill with cancer; she died in October 1990, expressing the hope that her son would one day win Olympic gold. One year later, with a victory in the U.S. Amateur Boxing tournament (132 pounds), De La Hoya was named Boxer of the Year by USA Boxing.

International Boxing Star

With the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, fast approaching, De La Hoya turned his mother's dream into a strong focus for his training. After an upset victory in the first round over the Cuban boxer Julio Gonzalez, De La Hoya defeated Marco Rudolph of Germany to win gold and become the only U.S. boxer to take home a medal from Barcelona.

De La Hoya turned professional after the 1992 Olympics, winning his first pro fight in a first-round knockout of Lamar Williams in Inglewood, California, on November 23, 1992. He compiled an extremely successful record during his first year as a pro, and on March 5, 1994, won his first professional title, the junior lightweight championship of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), with a technical knockout (TKO) of Danish fighter Jimmi Bredahl in the tenth round of the fight. Four months later, De La Hoya captured the WBO lightweight title as well, knocking out Jorge Paez in the second round.

After a hard-fought victory in February 1995 over John Molina, the International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior lightweight champion, De La Hoya knocked out Rafael Ruelas in less than five minutes to win the IBF lightweight title and bring his overall record to 18-0.

Despite De La Hoya's status as the 'Golden Boy' of boxing, some critics thought he had simply not faced enough quality opponents. A majority of these doubts were erased in June 1996, when De La Hoya faced his biggest challenge to date in Julio Cesar Chavez, an experienced and popular Mexican fighter and the reigning World Boxing Council (WBC) junior welterweight champion.

Antonio cromartie twelve children with eight women

Antonio cromartie twelve children with eight women, Antonio Cromartie is about to add some depth to his roster of kids.

The wife of the Jets cornerback posted a sonogram photo on Twitter that suggests the couple is expecting twins. That would make it 12 kids overall for Cromartie, with four from his wife, and eight others all from separate women.

Terricka Cason, who goes under the Twitter handle @iluvTERRICKA, has been receiving congratulations from followers since posting the photo around noon Tuesday. That included one from Jets linebacker Bart Scott's wife.

Cromartie and Cason had a son, Jagger, who joined sister Jurzie. Cromartie has not mentioned the news on his Twitter account, but did wish Jurzie a happy second birthday.

“Identical twins run in my Family,” Cason wrote alongside the photo.

Cromartie has been criticized for his large brood, and that has only grown since he seemed to struggle to remember the names of some of his children when the Jets were on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” in 2010.

“thanks to all my loyal followers who have been supportive of my family & my marriage there are so many ppl who are against u but so many,” Cason tweeted Tuesday.

The Post reported Sunday that some of Cromartie’s other baby mamas are interested in doing a reality television show featuring the children, but Cromartie has balked at the possibility.

Kevin costner seven children three different women

Kevin costner seven children three different women, There are several very good reasons why Kevin Costner hasn’t made a film for four years. During that time the 55-year-old Oscar-winner’s wife Christine has given birth to three babies, now aged three, one and six months and, he says, “It’s noisy, really noisy.”

Costner, who has three grown-up children from an earlier marriage and a teenage son from a liaison with another woman, admits he had his doubts about starting a second family when he married model Christine Baumgarten, almost 20 years his junior, six years ago.

“But they’re really good children,” he says, “and I see them making steps every day, and the one thing I pray for in life is not success but being able to raise my children and that nothing happens to me in the next 20 years.
“I want it to be me who tells them about the secrets, the beauty, the treachery and everything that is in life. I don’t want them to learn from someone else.”

As well as the babies, Costner has been busy with other projects: he has toured Europe singing with his band; he has written songs and scripts; and he has spent more than £20 million of his own money developing a centrifuge machine that separates oil from water. He has testified several times to the US Congress about the technology, which was created by his brother and which has been judged so efficient that BP placed an order for 32 machines to help clean up Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

Now he is returning to the screen in a co-starring role with Ben Affleck and Tommy Lee Jones in The Company Men, a topical story of three men who lose their jobs through cutbacks and are forced to redefine their lives.
“It asks how men deal with not being in the position they once held,” says Costner. “What are we going to do without our golf club membership or our car? We have to get used to doing with less.”

Financial hardship is not something Kevin Costner has had to deal with for a long time, although when he embarked on an acting career he worked at various times as a fisherman, a truck driver and a Hollywood tour guide.
He has given up the Los Angeles bachelor pad that was his home until he met Baumgarten, and the family now live with their two white labradors on a 10-acre ranch overlooking the sea at Santa Barbara, 80 miles north of Los Angeles. There he rides horses and drives a tractor; it will be, he says, his last home.

“I’ve been very lucky with the movies, but I think essentially I’m a blue-collar kind of guy,” he says. “I worked on commercial fishing boats and always thought that’s what I’d do, but I’ve had enormous good luck. I have too much. I have the health of my children; I’ve had worldwide fame; I have a lot. When I travel the world, I see that people have very little, and I don’t need everything I have.”

It is almost 20 years since he won two Oscars for writing, producing and directing the western epic Dances With Wolves. Despite his other interests, producing and directing films is still very much on his mind, but his plans, like many other people’s, have been adversely affected by the economy.

“I haven’t worked for a really long time because I tend to make movies that aren’t sequels, so I’m not exactly in vogue. I can make a movie for $6 million, but most of the time it’s going to be around $30 million or
$40 million and Hollywood is very leery of movies that cost between $10 million dollars and $150 million.
“I won’t make a movie unless I have the ability to do it the way I want, so I hold my breath for a very long time. At this point in my life, I don’t want to make a movie I don’t want to make or one that somehow gets manipulated in a way I don’t feel comfortable with.”

Although he famously began his movie career with a role in The Big Chill that ended up on the cutting-room floor, it was his role as Eliot Ness in The Untouchables, quickly followed by his legendary night-time limousine tryst with Sean Young in the 1987 thriller No Way Out that established him as an A-list leading man and put him on the fast track to stardom. Since then, he has been in 40 films, some wildly successful and others that were box-office disasters.

He had a series of hits with JFK, Field of Dreams, Bull Durham and The Bodyguard, but he also directed and starred in the huge flop The Postman, in which he played a postman still trying to deliver the mail in a war-ravaged future, and also starred in the critically-mauled Waterworld and The War.
His two most successful films in the past decade have been Open Range, the western that he produced and directed, and the weepie Message in a Bottle.
“I’m not afraid to fail, and I’m not overly impressed with success,” he says. “I’ve learned that failure doesn’t kill you.”

He went through a rocky period in his personal life when his marriage to childhood sweetheart Cindy Silva broke up in 1994 after 16 years. His divorce settlement reportedly cost him £50 million. Two years later he acknowledged fathering a child, Liam, now 14, with Aspen socialite Bridget Rooney.

Although he is active and outspoken in environmental and liberal political causes, Costner has no illusions about the possibility of running for political office. “I’ve had a very colourful life, and I don’t care for it to be brought up by an opponent,” he says with a smile. “In American politics, if you can’t defeat someone on the issues, you attack what they’ve done in their past, and, because I’ve lived a really full life, I wouldn’t want to put myself in that position.”

"We ask how are kids are doing. I'm so happy he's got another on the way. I hope he has as many as me. I want more."

Although he is currently single, the 41-year-old music mogul - who has never married and has dated a number of beautiful women including Jennifer Lopez - hasn't given up on the idea of finding true love and admits he is slightly envious of fellow rapper Jay-Z's happy marriage to Beyonce Knowles.

He said in an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'd love to have what Jay and Beyonce have. My ideal woman has to have intellect and soul. I don't woo them with flowers, I need to know they like me for real."

Colbert tribute to mother

Colbert tribute to mother, Stephen Colbert returned to "The Colbert Report" on Wednesday night after a hiatus following the death of his mother, Lorna Colbert, who died last week at the age of 92.

Before starting the show, Colbert delivered an emotional, heartfelt tribute to the mother of 11, telling the audience, "If you watch this show and you also like me, that's because of my mom."

"She made a very loving home for us," he recalled. "No fight between siblings could end without hugs and kisses, though hugs never needed a reason in her house. Singing and dancing were encouraged, except at the dinner table. She had trained as an actress when she was younger and she would teach us how to do stage falls by pretending to faint on the kitchen floor."

He spoke of her coping with tremendous tragedy, losing a brother, husband and three sons. But, he added, "her love for her family and her faith in God somehow gave her the strength not only to go on but to love life without bitterness and to instill in us a gratitude for every day we have together."

Kenny anderson seven children five different women

Kenny Anderson seven children five different women, Being a New York City point guard is a pretty big deal. The long and storied lineage runs from old-timers like Bob Cousy all the way to guys like Stephon Marbury(notes) and Sebastian Telfair(notes). If you’re good at playing point in NYC, odds are you’ll become a legend throughout the city.

However, the biggest of all the big deals is probably Kenny Anderson, who is the only player in history to be named all-city all four years of high school and is called “the best high school player I’ve ever seen” by scouts who have been watching basketball for 50 years. After a Final Four and two years at Georgia Tech, Anderson hit the NBA as the second overall pick in the 1991 draft. And while his NBA career was nothing to write home about, he banked about $60 million.

Then, when his career came to a close in 2005, he was broke. Between cars, seven children with five women and loving to party, Anderson was without a job, money or a diploma. So he went back to school, and this Saturday he’ll be graduating with a degree in organizational leadership.

A neighbor told him about the Institute for Professional Studies at St. Thomas, so he enrolled for his online program by himself — without a cadre of helpers hovering over him. He began working with an adviser, Jennifer Booker, who is a professor.

“What surprised me,” Booker said, “was the way he was willing to give credit to people who helped him, like a former trainer.” She watched him handle the online classes, but from the other side of the electronic connection she could not gauge the terror of a star who had once performed in arenas and now had to produce a paper.

“I’d ask people for help,” Anderson said. “This wasn’t like college. They’d say, ‘I’ll give you an idea, but you have to do the work yourself.’” He almost quit a few times but found a comfortable routine, helping get Ken Jr. and his wife’s daughter, Tiana, also 9, off to school. Then he would take off to Starbucks and study.

Big ups, Kenny Anderson. This kind of thing just makes you feel good. Not the losing $60 million part obviously, but the responding to that by doing something constructive part. That’s excellent.

Anderson is currently giving private lessons to basketball hopefuls, but he’s hoping for something bigger. Whether that ends up being coaching somewhere or something else, now that he’s got his degree, he’s got options. Very cool.

Jimmy Hoffa search

Jimmy Hoffa search, The latest search for the remains of former Teamsters boss Jimmy Hoffa ended on Wednesday in a field near Detroit, where federal agents had dug with heavy equipment and shovels for three days in the hope of answering the decades old question, "Whatever happened to Jimmy Hoffa?"

Since Monday, 40 agents for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Michigan state police and Oakland County sheriff's office, and forensic anthropologists from Michigan State University had combed an acre of the overgrown field not far from where Hoffa was last seen alive in 1975.

"We did not uncover any evidence relevant to the investigation on James Hoffa," Robert Foley, head of the FBI's Detroit office, told reporters. "Of course we're disappointed."

The search for Hoffa, who was 62 when he disappeared and is thought to have been killed by members of organized crime, has become near mythical, providing fodder for rumors, books, and movies, including 1992's "Hoffa," starring Jack Nicholson.

Law enforcement officials decided to search the field after reputed mobster Anthony Zerilli, 85, told the FBI Hoffa was buried there. When Hoffa disappeared, the property was owned by a man Zerilli said was his first cousin. Zerilli is the son of former reputed Detroit mob boss Joseph Zerilli.

Cold case

Foley said the search for Hoffa has been worthwhile, but he did not provide details about how much it has cost.

"The FBI and its partners, we're not a corporation. We do not have a profit margin as a bottom line," Foley said. "What we have instead as a bottom line is the search for justice."

A man who showed up at the dig site on Tuesday carrying a shovel and wearing a horse head mask, which harkened to the 1972 movie "The Godfather," criticized the FBI for continuing to pursue the case.

"What does finding the body prove even if he was here?" said the man, who identified himself only as "Mr. Ed", a reference to a fictional talking horse in a 1960s American television series.

The search began on Monday at a concrete slab in the field, about 20 miles (30 km) from a restaurant where Hoffa was last seen alive.

Hoffa, father of current Teamsters President James Hoffa, led the union from 1957 to 1971. In his final years as union president, Jimmy Hoffa was imprisoned for fraud and jury tampering. He was released in 1971 after President Richard Nixon commuted his sentence.

Law enforcement authorities have long thought that members of organized crime ordered Hoffa's killing to prevent him from regaining control of the Teamsters.

Zerilli's attorney, David Chasnick, said he had not spoken with his client since the FBI called off the search on Wednesday.

There have been other searches for Hoffa in the Detroit area. In September 2012, police took a soil sample from behind a private home in Roseville, Michigan, after receiving a tip.

Suggestions about where Hoffa may be buried have included under an end zone in Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

"I would say that we're always hopeful that we'll get a lead that will lead us to a position in which we can conclude this investigation in full for the process of justice and also for the family," Foley said.

Laser reveals city

Laser reveals city,  Airborne laser technology has uncovered a network of roadways and canals, illustrating a bustling ancient city linking Cambodia's famed Angkor Wat temple complex.

The discovery was announced late Monday in a peer-reviewed paper released early by the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. The laser scanning revealed a previously undocumented formally planned urban landscape integrating the 1,200-year-old temples.

The Angkor temple complex, Cambodia's top tourist destination and one of Asia's most famous landmarks, was constructed in the 12th century during the mighty Khmer empire. Angkor Wat is a point of deep pride for Cambodians, appearing on the national flag, and was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Archaeologists had long suspected that the city of Mahendraparvata lay hidden beneath a canopy of dense vegetation atop Phnom Kulen mountain in Siem Reap province. But the airborne lasers produced the first detailed map of a vast cityscape, including highways and previously undiscovered temples.

"No one had ever mapped the city in any kind of detail before, and so it was a real revelation to see the city revealed in such clarity," University of Sydney archaeologist Damian Evans, the study's lead author, said by phone from Cambodia. "It's really remarkable to see these traces of human activity still inscribed into the forest floor many, many centuries after the city ceased to function and was overgrown."

The laser technology, known as lidar, works by firing laser pulses from an aircraft to the ground and measuring the distance to create a detailed, three-dimensional map of the area. It's a useful tool for archaeologists because the lasers can penetrate thick vegetation and cover swaths of ground far faster than they could be analyzed on foot. Lidar has been used to explore other archaeological sites, such as Stonehenge.

In April 2012, researchers loaded the equipment onto a helicopter, which spent days crisscrossing the dense forests from 800 meters (2,600 feet) above the ground. A team of Australian and French archaeologists then confirmed the findings with an on-foot expedition through the jungle.

Archaeologists had already spent years doing ground research to map a 9-square-kilometer (3.5-square-mile) section of the city's downtown area. But the lidar revealed the downtown was much more expansive - at least 35 square kilometers (14 square miles) - and more heavily populated than once believed.

"The real revelation is to find that the downtown area is densely inhabited, formally-planned and bigger than previously thought," Evans said. "To see the extent of things we missed before has completely changed our understanding of how these cities were structured."

Researchers don't yet know why the civilization at Mahendraparvata collapsed. But Evans said one current theory is that possible problems with the city's water management system may have driven people out.

The next step for researchers involves excavating the site, which Evans hopes will reveal clues about how many people once called the city home.

Michael Applebaum resigns

Michael Applebaum resigns, Montreal's Mayor Michael Applebaum has resigned, a day after his arrest on 14 fraud charges.

As he stepped aside, Mr Applebaum told reporters that the charges against him were "unfounded".

He faces allegations of defrauding government, breach of trust and conspiracy, among others.

The city's first anglophone mayor in 100 years replaced Gerard Tremblay, who quit in November amid allegations related to illegal donations.

Mr Applebaum's arrest, in the early hours of Monday morning, is the latest in a string of scandals to hit Canadian local politics.

In the neighbouring province of Ontario, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford denies allegations that he appeared in a video smoking crack cocaine.

'Not a penny'

"Being mayor of Montreal is not something one can do while defending themselves against these accusations," Mr Applebaum said.

"This is why I am resigning as mayor of Montreal. It is a responsible thing to do."

He said he would "do everything I can to prove the accusations against me are unfounded".

"I have never taken a penny from anyone," he added.

Mr Applebaum began his term as interim mayor in November, vowing to fight corruption.

The charges against him stem from alleged acts before he became city mayor, during the years when he served as borough mayor, 2006-11.

Police officials offered few details, but said the charges related to real estate projects in Montreal.

Two officials with ties to Mr Applebaum's borough, Cote-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grace, were also arrested by anti-corruption police on Monday.

Mr Applebaum had already said he had no plans to run in the mayoral election scheduled for November. Quebec officials and many city councillors have said the best option is for the city to select an interim mayor until then.

The allegations against Mr Tremblay came forward in an ongoing high-profile public inquiry in Quebec that uncovered links between the construction industry and organised crime.

In his statement on Tuesday, Mr Applebaum said he understood the frustration and cynicism of politics in the city.

"It is my deep conviction that I always acted in the best interest of all Montrealers," he said.

Jason caffey ten children eight different women

Jason caffey ten children eight different women, Fidel Castro thought to have at least ten children by at least six women, Cuban leader Fidel Castro has at least 10 children from his relationships with a string of women, if a new book is to be believed.

Even though discussing his womanising ways is strictly taboo on the Caribbean communist outpost, journalist Ann Louise Bardach has thrown light on Castro’s philandering in her book ‘Without Fidel’.

To be published by Scribner, the book chronicles the lives of Castro and his brother Raul, reports the Telegraph.

When Ann Louise, a long-time Cuba-watcher, once asked Castro how many children he had during an interview with Vanity Fair in 1993, the smiling leader answered: “Almost a tribe.”

While researching for the Without Fidel, she found how true that observation was.

Castro had one child, Fidelito (Little Fidel), with his first wife Myrta Diaz-Balart in 1949 and five boys between 1962 and 1974 with Dalia Soto del Valle, a little-seen companion whom he is said to have secretly married in 1980.

However, according to Ann Louise, there have been many more paramours and several other children along the way-most notably from the time when the 29-year-year old rebel leader celebrated his release from prison in 1955 for a failed uprising.

Three Castro offspring were born to three women during 1956, and Natalia Revuelta, an aristocratic beauty who became a fierce defender of his revolution, bore him a daughter, Alina Fernandez.

Ann Louise had previously reported the existence of another illegitimate 1956 child, Panchita Pupo. She was not even known to his other offspring and her mother remains unidentified.

In her book, the investigative journalist has now revealed the identity of the mother of Jorge Angel, the third Castro child of 1956 - Maria Laborde, an admirer who Castro met just after was he freed.

She also talks about a son known as Ciro, the early 1960s product of another brief fling.

He was previously unknown outside the family inner circle, but a close relative of Celia Sanchez, Castro’s closest confidante and yet another rumoured lover, revealed his existence to the author.

Earlier this year, a Cuban intelligence defector claimed that Castro had sired another son in 1970, which, if true, would take the count to 11 children by seven women.

400-year-old skeleton Sarnia

400-year-old skeleton Sarnia, A Sarnia couple who set out to build a fence dug up more than they bargained for recently when they unearthed a 400-year-old skeleton and got stuck with a $5,000 bill from the province.

The archeological misadventure began two weeks ago when Ken Campbell came across some bones while digging post holes in their backyard.

He put them aside, thinking they must have belonged to an animal. The following week, his wife, Nicole Sauve, asked about the bones, which sat unceremoniously atop a bucket of earth“I said, ‘They’re not animal bones, Ken. Let’s dig some more and see what we can find,’ ”she said.

What they found was the rest of the skeleton of an aboriginal woman. The OPP, who taped off the couple’s backyard, called in forensic anthropologist Michael Spence to examine the site.

Spence told the Star that the skeleton was that of a woman who was about 24 years old when she died, probably in the late 1500s or early 1600s.

The condition of her teeth led him to suspect she was part of hunting, gathering and fishing society. The couple lives by the Blue Water Bridge, an area that once was the centre of an Ojibwa trade network. Spence said the woman is probably a descendant of those merchants.

After Spence determined there was no recent foul play involved, the Registrar of Cemeteries was contacted. They told Sauve she had to hire an archeologist to conduct an assessment in her backyard — at her own expense.
Under Ontario’s Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, property owners are responsible for the costs of an archeological assessment if human remains are found on their land.

Sauve, whose final bill is for $5,000, has appealed to the mayor of Sarnia to pay the archeologist. She’s steadfast in her belief that it doesn’t matter what level of government steps in to pay, as long as she doesn’t have to.
“I did the right thing by her . . . and this is what’s happening,” she said.

Sauve said she’s heard that people from the nearby Aamjiwnaang First Nation are raising money to pay the bill, but they haven’t approached her directly. No one from the band council office was available Friday to confirm those efforts.

Bob Bailey, the MPP for the area, saw her story in the local newspaper and his staff did some research into the couple’s predicament. He found out that Sauve can make a request to the Registrar of Cemeteries to determine if paying for the excavation would be considered an “undue financial burden.” The registrar will then either reimburse her or pay the bill directly.

Bailey said he has spoken to the minister of consumer services (the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act falls under her purview) and her staff, and intends to make sure Sauve won’t have to pay.

Sauve originally wanted to keep the skeleton of the woman — whom she named Sephira, after her granddaughter — where she was, but found out her land would have to be re-surveyed and another deed issued stating there’s a cemetery on the land.

She reluctantly agreed to have the bones disinterred and reinterred at the cemetery on the Aamjiwnaang First Nation. The woman is likely distantly related to the residents of the reserve nearby.

They performed a traditional ceremony at her house when they first found the bones, and then again after they moved her. The cemetery has a space specially designated for repatriated remains, where the skeleton now rests.

Sauve said people have been telling her that if they end up in a similar situation, they won’t alert authorities and risk having to fork over the cash to pay the bill.

“That is awful,” she said. “God forbid you have a murder victim, and you cover them up. Never will that person be brought home; never will their family have closure.”

Although his career is thriving, Marc focuses a lot of energy on his kid’s welfare. He believes that making good memories with his brood is vital.

First, you have to recognise how important [fatherhood] is, and then you just do it,” Mark told OK! magazine at Gray Line New York’s Ride of Fame event in New York City Thursday. “We all have the power to do it and get it done on many levels, so that’s something you have to concentrate on, and actually do something about it, right?”

AMA obesity disease

AMA obesity disease, The American Medical Association (AMA) has adopted a new policy in which obesity will now be considered a disease.  The policy was adopted yesterday during the group’s annual meeting in Chicago.

“Recognizing obesity as a disease will help change the way the medical community tackles this complex issue that affects approximately one in three Americans,” said AMA board member Patrice Harris, M.D. in a statement.

More than 78 million adults in the United States are now obese according to eh Centers for Disease Control (CDC).  And the number of children who are obese has doubled in children—and tripled in adolescents—over the last thirty years.  People who are obese face higher medical bills, about 1400 dollars more than patients who are of normal weight.

The World Health Organization says obesity is associated with a host of serious illnesses, including cardiovascular disease and stroke, diabetes, osteoarthritis and some types of cancers.

Dr. Harris told Fox News obesity costs the U.S. over 535 billion dollars a year.

Theodore Kyle, with the Obesity Society, a research group, applauded the AMA’s decision saying it will help “reduce the stigma and discrimination experienced by the millions affected.”  The Obesity Society first advocated for the change in 2008.

The new classification from the AMA comes less than a year after a report, F as in Fat predicted more than 13 states could have obesity rates as high as 60 percent by the year 2030.  The report, by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Trust for America’s Health, predicated all 50 states could have obesity rates above 44 percent by that time.

While the AMA ruling has no legal standing, health insurance companies are likely to feel pressure to cover the cost of doctor’s consultation with obese patients and weight loss programs. The government-run Medicare program does cover the costs of some treatments but private insurers are less consistent, according to the LA Times.  The Internal Revenue Service allows tax deductions for obesity treatment, according to Medical Daily.

A person is considered obese, according to WedMD, when his or her weight is more than 20 percent higher than normal or she or he has a body mass index (BMI) of over 30.  BMI is a combined height and weight measurement.  The normal range is 18.5 to 24.9.  People with a BMI of 25 to 29.9 are considered overweight but not obese.

Gandolfini reactions

Gandolfini reactions, The death of James Gandolfini, the actor and “Sopranos” star who died Wednesday, has elicited an outpouring of reactions from friends, colleagues and other performers who were associated with his work. Among those who have offered their remembrances:

David Chase, the creator and show runner of “The Sopranos”:

“He was a genius. Anyone who saw him even in the smallest of his performances knows that. He is one of the greatest actors of this or any time. A great deal of that genius resided in those sad eyes. I remember telling him many times: ‘You don’t get it. You’re like Mozart.’ There would be silence at the other end of the phone. For Deborah [Mr. Gandolfini's wife] and Michael and Liliana [his children] this is crushing. And it’s bad for the rest of the world. He wasn’t easy sometimes. But he was my partner, he was my brother in ways I can’t explain and never will be able to explain.”

Edie Falco, who played Tony Soprano’s wife, Carmela, on “The Sopranos”:

“I am shocked and devastated by Jim’s passing. He was a man of tremendous depth and sensitivity, with a kindness and generosity beyond words. I consider myself very lucky to have spent 10 years as his close colleague. My heart goes out to his family. As those of us in his pretend one hold on to the memories of our intense and beautiful time together. The love between Tony and Carmela was one of the greatest I’ve ever known.”

Michael Imperioli, the “Sopranos” co-star who played Christopher Moltisanti:

“Jimmy treated us all like family with a generosity, loyalty and compassion that is rare in this world. Working with him was a pleasure and a privilege. I will be forever grateful having had a friend the likes of Jimmy.”

Lorraine Bracco, who played Tony Soprano’s psychiatrist, Dr. Jennifer Melfi, on “The Sopranos”:

“We lost a giant today. I am utterly heartbroken.”

Jeff Daniels, who starred with Mr. Gandolfini in the Broadway production of “God of Carnage”:

“If Broadway has a version of a guy you want in your foxhole, Jim Gandolfini was mine. During our time together in ‘God of Carnage,’ we played 320 performances together. He didn’t miss one. Sadly, I now miss him like a brother.”

Brad Grey, chairman of Paramount Pictures and an executive producer of “The Sopranos”:

“Jimmy was one of the most talented, authentic and vulnerable actors of our time. He was unorthodox and truly special in so many ways. He had the sex appeal of Steve McQueen or Brando in his prime as well as the comedic genius of Jackie Gleason. I’m proud to have been his friend and grateful for the extraordinary years I was lucky enough to work with him. My heart and support goes out to his wonderful and loving family.”

Patricia Arquette, who starred with Mr. Gandolfini in the 1993 film “True Romance”:

“My heart goes out to his family. James was incredibly talented, and I feel very fortunate to have had the chance to work with him. He was very committed during the shooting of ‘True Romance.’ I remember Tony Scott saying he slept in his suit in his car to stay in character. His work as Tony Soprano was flawless. It is a real loss to the creative community.”

Brad Pitt, who starred with Mr. Gandolfini in films like “True Romance” and “Killing Them Softly”:

“I admire Jimmy as a ferocious actor, a gentle soul and a genuinely funny man. I am fortunate to have sat across the table from him and am gutted by this loss. I wish his family strength and some semblance of peace.”

The members of the rock band Journey, whose song “Don’t Stop Believin’” was played in the final scene of “The Sopranos”:

“It’s truly an honor to have been able to share one of the greatest moments ever in TV history with James Gandolfini. He was an amazing actor — taken way too young — and he’ll be missed. Our condolences go out to his family.”

Peachem shooting

Peachem shooting, A shooting in Peacham, Vermont on Wednesday left two men dead in an apparent murder-suicide.

According to the Vermont State Police, police received a report of shots fired at around 7 am on Wednesday. A 60-year-old woman, Jeannie Peabody, had made the call after her husband, 50-year-old Mark Peabody, went outside their home to confront a man who had parked his vehicle on their lawn. After hearing three shots, Jeannie reportedly fled into her basement, where she heard someone enter her home. She escaped to a neighbor’s house, where she placed the 911 call.

Police and a Tactical Support Unit arrived at the scene to find Mark dead near the vehicle. A second dead male, presumably the driver of the vehicle, was found dead inside the house. A Vermont State Police Bomb Squad was also called in to deal with a suspicious package found in the vehicle.

Police believe that the driver of the vehicle was Jeannie’s ex-husband, 59-year-old John Jackson of New Hampshire. The two had had ongoing legal disagreements over child support payments. The identity of the man will be confirmed following an autopsy.

Vermont police are currently investigating the incident, conducting interviews and collecting evidence.

Jessica simpson baby no. 2

Jessica simpson baby no. 2, Jessica Simpson is proving that baby No. 2 will do a body good.
The Fashion Star judge may have let it slip that she's expecting the pitter patter of little boy feet, but one thing she's not letting go is her baby body.

After gaining 60 pounds the first time around with 1-year-old daughter Maxwell Drew, the Weight Watchers spokeswoman shed a whopping 50 pounds and is now making healthier choices... and may we say, looking mighty fit doing it.

Now, six months pregnant, the 32-year-old's hard work is paying off after she admitted to learning a few lessons the second time around: "The first pregnancy, I let loose and kind of ate everything that I wanted to eat and I just really enjoyed it," the singer-turned-fashion-designer said on The Ellen Degeneres Show earlier this month.

"This time around because I was doing Weight Watchers and I felt super healthy, I'm not really craving as much," she added. "I know how hard it is to get [weight] off, so I'm trying to make healthier, wiser decisions."

She even called this pregnancy the "complete opposite" from her first.
"Like with Maxwell, I felt amazing, like I could do everything, eat everything. Do whatever I wanted. I had a lot of energy," she said. "This time around, I'm like exhausted. Eating Tums. That's my snack of choice."

But exhaustion and new cravings aren't the only changes she's experiencing.

Celebuzz has broken down her incredible baby body journey in photos, and we're asking: can you see the difference?

Xbox One DRM

Xbox One DRM, Microsoft has sensationally abandoned its controversial plans to restrict the sharing of Xbox One games, and has also removed daily online authentication requirements for its forthcoming console.

In a statement released on the Xbox website on Wednesday, Don Mattrick, the president of Microsoft's interactive entertainment business, wrote that the company had listened to "candid feedback" from gamers. Before listing the changes, his explanation reads, "You told us how much you loved the flexibility you have today with games delivered on disc. The ability to lend, share, and resell these games at your discretion is of incredible importance to you. Also important to you is the freedom to play offline, for any length of time, anywhere in the world."

When the new console is released this November, there will be no need to authenticate the system online every 24 hours – a requirement thought to have been introduced as a digital rights management measure. According to the statement, "After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again."

Furthermore, plans to restrict the sales of pre-owned titles, as well as the sharing of games among friends, have also been cancelled. There will now be no limits on gifting, re-selling, sharing or renting Xbox One game titles. In addition to these reversals, Microsoft is also removing regional locks on Xbox One games, which means titles bought in one global territory will work in all others.

The announcement follows a huge backlash against Microsoft which began when the company first revealed the Xbox One console at a press conference in May. Company representatives explained to journalists that all Xbox One games would need to be fully installed onto systems before play and that each copy would then be watermarked to its owner. Attempts to then sell on or give away the boxed copy of the game would be controlled by Microsoft; although the details have always been ambiguous, it appeared that the company would work with selected retail partners for the sale of pre-owned titles, and that publishers may have had the opportunity to charge purchasers of second-hand discs for the right to play.

There were also confusing propositions on sharing games with others. Microsoft informed gamers that they would be able to make their software library available to 10 friends, but that concurrent access to games would not be possible. Considered by industry insiders as an intriguing feature it has now been removed, as have other interesting possibilities. "There is some give and some take," said Brian Blau, a research director at Gartner. "The rules about used games have now been removed but the cool feature where you could go to a friends house and play your games (by signing in and downloading them from your library) has been removed, or at least partially removed."

Some pundits feel that Microsoft's error has been in poorly explaining its vision for a new era of digitally-centered console gaming. The company attempted to push its proposals as a forward-looking approach to games distribution, inspired by iTunes and the PC gaming service Steam. But for a huge number of gamers, the negatives of the restrictions outweighed any positive possibilities. On Wednesday night, high profile games designer Cliff Bleszinski hit Twitter to claim that the original Xbox One infrastructure would have helped to prevent piracy and ensure publishers made money from second-hand sales. "Brace yourselves. More tacked on multiplayer and DLC are coming," he wrote; followed by "I want *developers* who worked their asses off to see money on every copy of their game that is sold instead of Gamestop."

At the major E3 video game conference in June, Sony used the widescale backlash against Microsoft's plans to boost the popularity of its rival PlayStation 4 machine. At Sony's E3 press conference, company executives made it clear that PS4 would place no restrictions on pre-owned sales and wouldn't require daily online authentication – the announcements received a huge applause. Earlier this week, Amazon ran a poll on its website, asking readers to vote for PS4 or Xbox One as the best next-gen console; some US sites are reporting that the results were so overwhelmingly skewed toward the Sony console, the online retailer removed the survey.

"This reversal is a positive move for Microsoft as they need to compete strongly against the PS4," said Blau. "It's a really good sign that Microsoft is listening and providing the functions and features that their core audience is asking for. This has to help improve the overall impression that some may have had about Microsoft being a bully when it comes to video game DRM."

Xbox One is the follow-up to Microsoft's hugely successful Xbox 360 console, launched in 2005. The machine will feature an eight-core CPU, Blu-ray player and a more advanced version of its Kinect motion control device. PlayStation 4 is also set to launch this winter. Both now face a very different fight for the support of the huge global gaming audience.

Jessica simpson baby photo lawsuit

Jessica simpson baby photo lawsuit, Jessica Simpson has been hit with a lawsuit from a Louisiana couple who allege the pop star used its child to sell magazines and gain publicity following a 2011 meet and greet.

Christopher Hurst and Tracy Gregory claim the Simpson posed for a picture with their son during a Metairie shopping event in October, 2011 and later allowed journalists at OK! magazine to pass off the image as the first photo of her own baby in an April, 2012 cover story, which featured a snap of the two alongside the caption: My First Days as a New Mom.

The parents allege they never signed a release form allowing a photo of their son to be used and are now taking legal action against Simpson, who was still pregnant with daughter Maxwell at the time, editors at the publication and photographers at Getty Images for invasion of privacy and emotional distress. They are seeking a maximum of $75,000 in damages.

The documents were filed at the 24th Judicial District Court in Gretna, Louisiana in April and Hurst’s attorney, Michael North, says, “The photographer did not identify himself or ask Hurst’s permission to take or disseminate any photographs of… (the child)… OK! magazine paid him nothing, despite clear intention to mislead some or all of the consuming public into believing the photograph on the cover of the subject issue was actually Simpson’s first child.”

Montreal mayor arrested

Montreal mayor arrested,  For the second time in less than a year, a Montreal mayor has stepped down amid corruption scandals ripping through Canada's second-largest city.

Interim Mayor Michael Applebaum came into office vowing to clean up government. He resigned Tuesday, a day after his arrest on fraud charges. Applebaum denied the accusations and said he needs to focus on fighting them.

Montreal's first Anglophone mayor in a century took over in November, after Gerald Tremblay resigned amid corruption allegations. Applebaum now faces 14 charges, including defrauding the government and corruption in municipal affairs.

"I want to be clear that I have never taken a penny from anybody," Applebaum said at a news conference, where he didn't take questions. "I would like to tell Montrealers that I love them, that I understand their frustration, their deception and cynicism with the political climate of the last few years."

A high-profile public inquiry in Quebec province has uncovered links between the construction industry and organized crime.

Officials have offered few details on the charges against Applebaum but said they relate to real estate projects between 2006 and 2011, when he served as borough mayor.

After his arrest on Monday, local politicians and the provincial government called on him to step down. "I don't think he really has a choice," Quebec Premier Pauline Marois said in response to a reporter's question.

The Quebec government on Tuesday urged city councilors to ensure a smooth transition as they choose someone to run the city until the next election, set for November. Applebaum had already promised not to run.

Signs of trouble arrived soon after he took office. Anti-corruption officials raided City Hall in February. They also targeted offices in various boroughs, including the one Applebaum represented for many years.

Applebaum and his predecessor, Tremblay, were part of the same political party, Union Montreal, which dissolved last month. Richard Bergeron, the leader of the opposition Projet Montreal party, said the city council has to look to someone not affiliated with Union Montreal to lead the city on an interim basis.

"We have just gone through another episode in the horror story," Bergeron said. "Let's hope this is the last episode."

Michel Nadeau, executive manager at the Montreal-based Institute for Governance of Private and Public Organizations, said the city's next leader faces a major challenge in rebuilding public trust.

"We will debate over the next few months about the importance of credibility and honesty and integrity," Nadeau said.

In the neighboring province of Ontario, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is embroiled is his own scandal, amid allegations that the leader of Canada's largest city appeared in a video smoking crack cocaine. The video has not been released publicly.

Harper blasts Russia

Harper blasts Russia, Prime Minister Stephen Harper is 'raising a little hell' at the G8 summit in northern Ireland.
On Sunday, just ahead of the 2-day conference, Harper lashed-out at Russian President Vladimir Putin over his unwavering support of Syria's Assad regime.

"I donメt think we should fool ourselves. This is G7 + 1. Letメs be blunt," Harper told reporters when asked about dialogue the other G8 leaders will have with Putin.

"We in the West have a very different different perspective on this situation. Mr. Putin and his government are supporting the thugs of the Assad regime for their own reasons that I do not think are justifiable and Mr. Putin knows my view on that."

Putin has been an ally of Assad throughout the Syrian government's 2-year brutal crackdown against its citizens who have been calling for greater political rights and freedoms.
For his part, the Russian President insists that supplying weapons to a ragtag group of rebels ラ as is being proposed by some of the G8 countries ラ is unwise.

"One does not really need to support the people who not only kill their enemies, but open up their bodies, eat their intestines in front of the public and cameras," he said, according to the Canadian Press, referring to a rebel who was recently videotaped cutting into a dead soldier.

"Are these the people you want to support? Are they the ones you want to supply with weapons? Then this probably has little relation to the humanitarian values preached in Europe for hundreds of years."

The exchange had political analysts in this county wondering aloud why Harper would chastise Putin so publicly.
Norman Spector, political pundit and former chief of staff to Brian Mulroney, tweeted that "the charitable view of Harper's undiplomatic broadside against Putin is that he's doing Obama's dirty work in advance of Keystone decision."

Jeep recall

Jeep recall, About 1.2 million Jeeps originally listed as part of a recall requested by federal safety authorities have been effectively excluded from the compromise between Chrysler and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, TheDetroitBureau.com has learned.

A potential showdown between the Detroit automaker and the NHTSA was narrowly averted Tuesday, hours before a deadline for Chrysler to either accept or reject the recall of 2.7 million older-model Jeeps the government was seeking.

After an investigation by the NHTSA, the agency said the Grand Cherokee and Liberty models were at risk of catching fire in rear-end collisions, a problem the government linked to at least 51 reported deaths.

After initially saying it was not going to recall the vehicles and insisting there was no defect, Chrysler reversed course Tuesday afternoon and announced a settlement. Initial reports said the maker would recall the 2.7 million SUVs, including Grand Cherokees sold between 1993 and 2004, and Liberty models marketed between 2002 and 2007.

Only 1.56 million of those vehicles are actually subject to a safety recall, however; all the Liberty SUVs and Grand Cherokees sold during the 1993 through 1998 model years.

The remaining Jeep utility vehicles, Grand Cherokees marketed from 1999 to 2004, are covered by a much less extensive "service action," according to Chrysler, which is owned by Italian automaker Fiat.

The difference is significant. The recall will involve installation of a protective shield meant to reduce the likelihood that in the event of a rear-end collision gas tanks mounted behind the rear axles of the two Jeep models might leak and catch fire.

A large portion of the roughly 1.2 million vehicles subject to the service action, however, will undergo no modifications. The only modifications would occur if one of those Jeep Grand Cherokees was equipped with an aftermarket trailer hitch, something that appears to increase the risk of a gas tank being damaged in a collision.

In such an instance, Chrysler officials explained, the hitch would be replaced by a factory trailer hitch designed to minimize the risk of a fire.

NHTSA officials have not yet responded to questions about the decision to limit the vehicles they targeted for recall.
