Lucas Cruikshank Films A Cameo As Fred Figglehorn

Lucas Cruikshank Films A Cameo As Fred Figglehorn, A little off topic, but the concept of a whole 90-minute feature of Fred Figglehorn in the works is still sinking in. That, and apparently it was quite the hot topic lately. For those that missed it, we broke the news last month that there is in fact a Fred movie in the works starring none other than Lucas Cruikshank as the titular high-pitched YouTube star.

According to the latest casting notices, Cruikshank is indeed attached, though the rest of the roles appear to be wide open. With shooting beginning November 20, they are looking to lock these up soon. For some reason they are looking for “cameo names only” to play Fred’s father. We’re thinking Jim Carrey.

[FRED'S DAD] Fred’s father, he’s a wildly eccentric character who encourages his son to follow his bliss and go after the girl of his dreams. Seemingly unfazed by his nightmarish marriage to a real mess of a woman, he’s relentlessly upbeat at all times…LEAD (11) Please submit cameo names only.

They are also casting a 6 year-old version of Fred, which already is making us shutter. Wait, isn’t Fred already a fictional 6-year old? Anyway it looks like he doesn’t actually have any lines, as that would probably break the speakers.

[6 YEAR OLD FRED] This 6 year old boy is Fred (Lucas Cruikshank) seen in flashback. Little Fred is playing with his pal, Evan, when Evan disappears into the woods without a trace, at which point the terrified Fred wets himself in fear…no lines, 1 scene (32)

This is no doubt a gamble for the six-figure earning teen star who may be close to jumping the YouTube shark. So the fate of this pain inducing character is now in the hands of director Clay Weiner, (aka mittymoo). The storyline listed reads like Road Trip— “When his dream girl, Judy, moves away, young Fred embarks on a quest in search of the girl he adores. It’s a hallucinatory adventure that puts Fred smack dab in the middle of one surreal escapade after another…”

Obama girl won't endorse president 2012

Obama girl won't endorse president 2012, Amber Lee Ettinger, widely known as “Obama Girl” during the 2008 presidential campaign, told The Daily Caller she is “not as excited as I was the last time, that’s for sure.”

The model-actress became a nationally known celebrity after starring in the viral YouTube video “Crush on Obama.”
“Barack Obama was definitely the first ‘Internet President,’” she said, describing her experiences during the last cycle as “quite a roller coaster ride.”

This time, however, Ettinger won’t say if she still supports Obama.
“At this point I’m keeping that to myself,” she told TheDC. “If I’m not making videos, I’m not sure it’s anyone’s business who I’m voting for this time around.”

“I think in the next few months it’s going to be very interesting to see what happens,” Ettinger said. ”I’d like to get out there and see what the young voters think about both candidates… I might need to break out my flip cam and take a road trip.”

Outside of the realm of politics, the one-time “Obama girl” is ”going back to school full time, acting and developing [her] jewelry line.”

Combating rumors that she didn’t vote in the 2008 election, Ettinger told TheDC that she did indeed vote, in Pennsylvania.

Antoine Dodson Renounces Homosexuality to Become a Hebrew Israelite

Antoine Dodson Renounces Homosexuality to Become a Hebrew Israelite, While you were chilling in the house last night preparing dinner, the most interesting thing happened. According to Missjia.com, Antoine Dodson, you know, the YouTube star from the “Hide ya kids, hide ya wife” bed intruder video, went to his Facebook and announced that he would no longer be presenting himself as a gay man. Why? Because he’d had a change of heart because of his faith. He claims to now be a True Chosen Hebrew Israelite descendant of Judah. Here’s what he had to say last night.

His last real Facebook status before this very big announcement was on April 1, so who knows how long he had actually been learning about this faith and going through such a transition. But despite how he might feel about himself now–while still toting a profile picture with pressed hair that looks better than most of the women I know–it seems some of his followers were turned off by his profession.

Claiming that it perpetuates the idea that if you want to, you can choose not to be gay. “…by renouncing your homosexuality you add fuel to the argument that being gay is a choice and this will in no doubt end up hurting someone young LGBTQ. Shame on you.”

But others were supportive of his decision, including one who said “all who hatin, why hate on someone willin to change….” With people who make a living from an identity they create on YouTube, I can’t help but wonder if this could possibly be a publicity stunt of some kind to help keep his name relevant.

And if it is, that’s definitely a very irresponsible thing to say and do in front of your mainy gay and bisexual Facebook followers/supporters. However, if it’s not, then more power to him. That’s his life, not ours…but what do you think?

Family cashing in on 'David After Dentist'

Family cashing in on 'David After Dentist, If you spend any time on the Internet, you've no doubt seen "David After Dentist," the YouTube video of a woozy 7-year-old boy in the back seat of a car, struggling to understand the effects of anesthesia.

The viral clip has been viewed almost 54 million times and gave rise to the catchphrase, "Is this real life?" It was the second most-watched video of 2009, according to YouTube, trailing only Susan Boyle's appearance on "Britain's Got Talent."

It's also been an unexpected bonanza for the boy's Orlando, Florida-area family, who, despite some criticism that they exploited their child by posting his image online, has turned the one-minute, 59-second home video into a lucrative sideline.

"We embraced it," said the boy's father, David DeVore, who shot the famous clip on a Flip camera from the car's front seat. "We said we will make a family adventure out of this and see what happens. Nothing has happened that we felt uncomfortable doing."

He would not say exactly how much the family has earned from the video but said it's in the "low six figures."
DeVore gave a presentation this week at the South by Southwest Interactive festival in Austin, Texas, where he explained what the family's life has been like in the 13 months since the video went viral.

"Well, I'm David DeVore, also known as David's dad, or the idiot that posted a video of his son on YouTube," he told the audience as he began his talk. DeVore then played a video greeting from David, who is now 9 years old and looks noticeably older than he does in the famous video, which was shot in May 2008.

"I'm sorry I couldn't be there with you in Austin," young David says in the new video. "I have school, you know."
DeVore said he shot the original video for two reasons: His wife couldn't attend the dental surgery, so he wanted to show her that David was OK after having an extra tooth removed. Also, he wanted to show David, who was nervous about the procedure, that the anticipation is often the worst part.

"So much for that idea," DeVore said.
He first posted the video on Facebook, but not all his relatives were members of the social-networking site, so he uploaded it to YouTube during the last weekend in January last year, never thinking anyone beside friends and family would watch it.

By the next Tuesday, it had been viewed 3 million times. The video has since spawned dozens of parodies, including "Chad After Dentist" and "David After The Divorce."

Davison to appear in VW’s Super Bowl teaser ad

Davison to appear in VW’s Super Bowl teaser ad, Somewhere between the bone-crushing tackles of Super Bowl XLVII, you may see Minerva Councilman Phil Davison frolic across your television screen Sunday.

Davison, whose fiery speech to local Republicans in 2010 became an Internet sensation that continues to attract new audiences, appears with dozens of well-known viral freak-out stars in an online pregame teaser for Volkswagen of America’s Super Bowl ad.

A call to Volkswagen’s marketing spokesman was not immediately returned Wednesday. Called “Sunny Side,” the automaker’s nearly two-minute video snippet begins with a montage of popular YouTube rants, including 5 seconds of Davison’s unorthodox speech to Stark County Republican leaders in 2010 during his unsuccessful bid to be the party’s candidate for Stark County treasurer.

Davison then reappears with the other YouTube sensations as they join hands and happily frolic down a grassy hillside while reggae singer Jimmy Cliff sings a rendition of “The Partridge Family” television show’s theme song, “Come On, Get Happy.”

Cliff then calls out the various viral stars, including the crazy cat hugging lady, the supermarket tantrum girl and the irritated llama. He calls Davison the “screaming politician.”
The commercial ends with the phrase, “Time to get happy.”

Davison, who returned from taping the commercial in Los Angeles two weeks ago, said Wednesday he doesn’t know whether he will appear in the full-length version that will air Sunday.
“They made me no promises,” he said. “... I’m in the teaser and I’m happy about that. I might be in the commercial; I might not be.”

Davison, who watched the teaser online Wednesday afternoon, said Volkswagen shot much more video footage than what the snippet shows, but says much of it involves more romping in the field.

“It was 8 in the morning and they were like, ‘OK, everyone dance,’” said Davison, who appeared on Comedy Central’s Tosh.0 in 2011. “... I tried to sing along but all I know of that song is the chorus.”
Davison, a professed Cleveland Browns fan, plans to watch the championship game — and every commercial — Sunday. He said he’s rooting for the Baltimore Ravens.

'Charlie bit my Finger - Again' Viral Video to Become a Series

'Charlie bit my Finger - Again' Viral Video to Become a Series, Remember the ‘Charlie bit my finger – Again‘ viral video? The one where a kid (Harry) sits with a baby on his knee who proceeds to bite Harry’s finger and giggle at the resulting wails? Yep, that’s set to become a series.

Viral Spiral, the management company for viral content and Rightster, the video monetisation and distribution specialist have teamed up to produce an original series based on the antics of the two boys.

‘Rightster has made a strategic investment in Viral Spiral to create Viral Studios. The new arm of the company will co-produce and finance new digital content based on one of YouTube’s most viewed viral videos. Rightster will also offer sponsorship avenues around orignal content and drive YouTube syndication for additional marketing.

Charlie bit my finger – Again’ was posted in 2007  and has been seen almost half a billion times. Quite how this one scene will translate into a series is unknown, but if the kids are as amusing enough to drive similar viewing figures in the rest of their activities, it’s possible that the definition of ‘child star’ might have to be rewritten.

charlie bit me zazzle Charlie bit my finger   Again (and again) as viral kids are set to be syndicated as an original seriesLast year it was estimated that the family made more than £100,000 via the 57 second video. As memes tend to, the video also sparked its own blog where people can keep up with the boys adventures and even T-shirts and apps for Android and iOS. Not bad work for a video uploaded to YouTube because email would not cope with the file size.

Damian Collier, Founder and CEO of Viral Spiral commented: “We’re delighted to announce this strategic partnership with Rightster which will allow Viral Spiral to build on its expertise in developing value around hit viral properties. Today we’re at an inflection point where online content truly is king and has the ability to shape the future of the entertainment industry.”

Indeed from original viral content to the professionally created programming made by big players, finding traction online is becoming more and more important as viewers choose on-demand options and assorted content providers over traditional television scheduling.

Just this morning, BBC Worldwide announced an expansion of its partnership with YouTube to provide content for viewers in the United States and Canada. It seems that the money is clearly going to be found via advertising, marketing and presentation on the Internet.

“We’re excited to be playing such a key role in the development of original content and programming at this pivotal time in the digital entertainment industry”, added Charlie Muirhead, Founder and CEO of Rightster. “Rightster Studios enables producers of all sizes to create the next generation of engaging online video programming, and we look forward to working with Viral Spiral to successfully distribute and monetise new, original content based on the existing strength of the ‘Charlie Bit My Finger’ brand.”

If for some reason, this corner of the Internet has escaped your attention, this is the original. Who knows that Charlie might get up to next and if it will cause Harry quite as much pain.

Chris Crocker makes porn debut

Chris Crocker makes porn debut, Internet personality Chris Crocker has been talking about doing porn for 20 years (well, in Web years, at least). Since rumors began that he was going to appear in a Chi Chi LaRue flick, though, Crocker has appeared in his own HBO documentary (Me at The Zoo), been referenced on Glee, and even started filming a legit gay comedy.  The porn project seemed to languish.

But Queer Me Now (NSFW) is reporting that Mr. “Leave Britney Alone” is finally popping his porn cherry with the bareback site The Maverick Men (NSFW), which has released an x-rated trailer featuring Chris and his now-ex, Justin Goble.  The full scene debuts on the site October 4.

Over the summer, Crocker registered a new Twitter account, @ChrisCrockerXXX, and discussed his porn possibilities on his Tumblr page:

The mere NOTION that someone can be intelligent, talented, and do porn on the side is jarring and impossible to most. (Not all, I know you supporters are out there reading this as well. I am not  focusing ONLY on the narrow-minded.) Don’t get me wrong: I am not painting an impossibly pretty picture for the sake of changing anyones minds. It IS difficult. I have to wonder about an array of things it will interfere with. Here are someof the most commonly asked issues..

The being in relationship aspect: It all starts with trust. I tell my amazing partner everything. I tell him when a twink asks about doing a 3-way with us. I tell him when I think someone is attractive. I tell him my fantasies involving us with others. We do NOT have an “open relationship”, we do however have an OPEN MINDED relationship.. and the fact I share everything with him allows us to have 10000% trust. Plus, he knows there is a difference between me sharing my body with the internet and the way I share my body/soul/heart with him. Also, any porn endeavors I accept will include him in some capacity…

Sharing my sex life and sexual desires is no different than my day-to-day intimate videos, in MANY ways. It’s me letting down a wall most of society keeps up. That’s my only talent. Being my 100% self on camera- The self most of us try to hide. Bringing the shadows of who we are to light…
PS- What is porn anyway? ;) Is it doing a shameful, crass act on camera.. because if so, I screwed myself on camera years ago.

Hey, if Chris wants to do porn, more power to him. We just wish it wasn’t bareback porn. But if it’s with his then-boyfriend, and they were seroconcordant (and that’s some big ifs), we guess its okay?

The 'Boom Goes The Dynamite' Kid Is Now A Real Reporter

The 'Boom Goes The Dynamite' Kid Is Now A Real Reporter, .. Later he gets the rebound. Passes it to the man. Shoots it. And boom goes the dynamite." It sounds like a SportsCenter sound bite, but those lines were uttered in March 2005 by aspiring reporter Brian Collins during a "Newslink@9" broadcast – Ball State University's student-run newscast.

It sounds like a SportsCenter sound bite, but those lines were uttered in March 2005 by aspiring reporter Brian Collins during a "Newslink@9" broadcast – Ball State University's student-run newscast.

It was Collins' first time doing any kind of on-camera work, and he decided to emulate ESPN's catchphrase-style of newscasting. While Collins struggled mightily during his first ever broadcast, he has become a viral celebrity for his "Boom Goes The Dynamite" one-liner.

Let's go over the events that led to the viral sensation known as "Boom Goes The Dynamite":

Brian Collins was shooting video for Newslink@9 when he found out the regular sports anchor was sick. A college news broadcast would seemingly make for great practice in getting to read the news on-camera; so, the 19-year old freshman saw this as a good opportunity to kick start his young career.

He went home, changed into on-camera attire, and got ready for his first ever newscast.

Like other first-time on-air personalities, it takes a few seconds for Collins to realize he's on-camera. Someone gives him a signal to tell him they're live, and he greets the audience with a friendly "hello everyone."

Right off the bat, Collins does a fine job at reading the news for a first-timer, but fourteen seconds into the segment, Collins stumbles and doesn't quite pick himself back up.

This video best depicts what happened to Collins.

It's the nightmare of any news anchor – a teleprompter malfunction. The person working the teleprompter was also new to the job and scrolled through the script at too fast of a pace for Collins to read.

He did have a copy of the script right in his hands, but the pages were out of order – a classic rookie mistake.

At the 22 second mark you hear Collins say "oh no," and the next three minutes would leave the college newsroom speechless. At one point, Collins even mouths the words "I'm so sorry."

Joe Thomas, the meteorologist of the same newscast, told Ball State Daily News that, "We all just kind of were stunned to be honest... No one really knew what to say. We all felt really bad for what happened."

Brian Collins thought he could just leave it behind and let time heal all wounds. Unfortunately for him, someone from the Newslink@9 show took the clip and uploaded it onto eBaum's World on April 1, 2005.

The video caught fire and became the most painful, but hilarious 3-minutes to spend on the Internet.

Just like Ghyslain Raza ("Star Wars Kid"), Brian Collins was upset that the video was being circulated around the web for the world to see. However, after speaking to several Ball State faculty members, Collins learned to move past the incident.

Then came a call from a Ball State alumnus – David Letterman. In June 2005, Brian Collins made an appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman." Letterman helped Brian make light of the situation by showing the "Boom Goes The Dynamite" phrase used in mainstream media.

In the same week, Collins got another call to appear on a CBS show – "The Early Show." He explained to anchor Hannah Storm the origins of the "Boom Goes The Dynamite" catchphrase.

"One thing that we do is we have Mario Kart tournaments... And along with that we try to create things that'll kind of mess each other up... part of that is you create catchphrases. And obviously, 'Boom Goes The Dynamite' was one of mine."

In the same interview, Collins also said that he would get phone calls and hate mail because of the video, but he's also glad to have gone through the experience as a way of learning from your mistakes.

He even got an email from ESPN SportsCenter anchor Scott Van Pelt saying, "If this is the worst thing that ever happens to you, life will be good."

"Boom Goes The Dynamite" is now a popular catchphrase that has become more than just a viral video.

So, what's Brian Collins up to these days?

After graduating in May 2008 with a degree in telecommunications, Collins worked at a PetSmart while looking for work at various news outlets around the U.S.

He eventually landed an interview with ABC affiliate KXXV in Waco, Texas. Some people in the newsroom didn't like the idea of hiring a notable viral star, but management decided to give Brian Collins a chance.

He stayed on for about a year as a reporter with KXXV before being let go for budgetary reasons. His beat at the station were crime and city issues.

Today, Brian Collins remains in Waco, Texas and is known as the Waco City Buzz Examiner on Examiner.com – a hyperlocal news website with contributions from citizen journalists.

It's impressive enough that Brian Collins could move past his on-camera gaffe, but for him to actually become a professional broadcast reporter speaks volumes about his ambition.

Greyson chance bali

Greyson chance bali, So what does a 15-year-old singer songwriter do for summer break after just finishing his freshman year in High School?

He takes a two week trip to Bali Indonesia for a little sun and intensive song writing excercise!

Before heading out to the tropics last week, Greyson posted a tweet that clearly showed his excitement for finishing 9th grade with the following photo:By Sunday evening Greyson was packed and ready to roll when he tweeted that a 13 hour international flight was in store for him causing fans to start speculating where the singer songwriter was going.

Now if there is one thing we have learned about Greyson Chance it’s that everything he does is well planned and usually part of a bigger master strategy…

So we started snooping around a little bit, because that’s what Ninjas do, and uncovered some interesting information.

It seems that Greyson has signed with a NEW management company - Bill Siva Management, and Greyson is now listed as one of their clients!

Then we uncovered that Bill presents an annual song writing intensive for his clients every year in Bali Indonesia, usually during May or June, called the “Bali Song Writing Summit” with sponsorships from various record labels.

So, we suspect that Greyson may very well be on “vacation” in Bali but surmise that he is also taking part in Bill Silva’s annual Bali song writing summit program. But we can't confirm that for sure and Greyson has not mentioned it so it is only clever speculation.

We think EVERY Enchancer should start following Bill on Twitter at @billsilvamgmt to show our support for Greyson. We should all tweet him and thank him for working with Greyson and tell him how much we love his music and look forward to the results of their partnership.

And Greyson has already posted a few photos from Bali that indicate he is having a good time and making new friends! We found it funny that the first friend Greyson made was with a lizard so we decided to have a little fun with that…

In Bali, that lizard is called a “Cicak”, so we ran a little Twitter trend to replace some of Greyson’s song lyrics with “Cicak” and within minutes it was the number one trending topic on Twitter in Indonesia - and at one point Greyson had BOTH the #1 and #2 spots on the top trend list.

Greyson also posted to his Instagram a somewhat blurred photo of himself and some of his new friends he has already met:Yesterday Greyson posted a picture of himself riding a bike around the island and to his fans surprise he was wearing short pants!!

That’s right - Greyson Chance wearing short pants…Greyson also tweeted that he had visited the Bali Jazz Café in Ubud and that is was “Off the chain”.

The Bali Jazz Café has become somewhat of a landmark of the Bali music scene and was started by Agung Wiryawan and his wife Nina. Agungs loved to play jazz music and his wife loved design so they created a place where musicians could get together and jam in a stylish and intimate setting.

We can see why Greyson would like the Jazz Café because it is a very intimate stage setting and Greyson always talks about preferring the small intimate settings over big arena type shows.

We’ve also learned that it rains a lot in Bali in the summer!

It seems Greyson is keeping most of his trip on the down low and not giving away too many details about what he is doing… but you know us…. we’ll keep digging.

We have created an album on the Greyson Chance Universe Facebook page with all of the pictures that Greyson is tweeting and posting to his Instagram along with other photos taken by fans who have spotted him in Bali.

Keep watching our blog for more updates on Greyson’s trip to Bali as it unfolds.

Brian Wilson and Cody Ross rage with YouTube star Keenan Cahill

Brian Wilson and Cody Ross rage with YouTube star Keenan Cahill, In case you're unfamiliar with Keenan Cahill, here's a primer: He's a 16-year-old from Elmhurst, Ill., who has a rare disorder named Maroteaux-Lamy Syndrome. The complex condition comes with a host of problems — including stunted growth — and fewer than 1,100 people are estimated to have it worldwide.

The drugs used to treat it are among the most expensive in the world with one prescription costing about $350,000 per year. He's undergone countless surgeries and has to receive weekly infusions designed to replace his enzymes and prolong his life.

Despite his disadvantages, Keenan has become a huge YouTube star over the past three years with millions of people clicking the fun videos he creates by enthusiastically lip-syncing along to popular culture songs. Indeed, the videos posted under his YouTube handle of "BeenerKeeKee19952 " have been viewed more than 230 million times.

Along the way, he's attracted video co-stars like 50 Cent, Jennifer Aniston and members of the New York Knicks. Now, after the two sides met up in Arizona during spring training, he's webcam raging with two members of the defending World Series champion San Francisco Giants as they lip-sync along to Taio Cruz's Dynamite.

That's very cool, but what's even cooler is that Wilson and Ross will be hosting "Dynamite: A Fundraiser for Keenan Cahill" during the game against the Florida Marlins on May 25.  Check out sfgiants.com/specialevents or keenansroom.com for more info.

Numa Numa Guy Is Creating The Next CollegeHumor

Numa Numa Guy Is Creating The Next CollegeHumor, Gary Brolsma had just graduated from high school and started working at "Expert PC" in Saddlebrook, NJ when he made his infamous "Numa Numa Dance" video.
"I didn't plan to make the video," Brolsma told us over a series of phone calls and emails. The New Jersey native said he was bored, had his web cam on, and decided to make a funny video to send around to his friends.

He lip-synced to the song "Dragostea din tei" by Moldovan pop group O-Zone and gave the performance of a lifetime. "Someone once described it to me that it's kind of like one of those moments when you're singing in the shower," Brolsma told us when we asked him why he thinks the video caught fire.

Recently, Brolsma has been working on a project called "Numa Network." Here's how Chris Pierdomenico of Numa Network described the website:

"Numa Network brings in various production companies throughout the country. The production companies still own their work, we merely act as a distributor."

Brolsma and Pierdomenico tell us that Numa Network will be similar to CollegeHumor and comedy videos "will always be the centerpiece." The website is slated to launch on July 9th, and in the meantime, Brolsma is working part-time as a "Field Specialist" for Sarizer Motor Company.

Gary Brolsma himself will be releasing several new videos for the launch of Numa Network while he is looking at a long-term goal of creating one video per week.

On making a successful viral video, here's what the "Numa Numa Guy" told us:

"A lot of the people on the Internet have short attention spans... It'd have to be short and funny. Something extraordinary has to happen to catch their attention."

As for his original hit, the video runs for 98 seconds and was uploaded by Gary Brolsma himself to Newgrounds on December 6, 2004. By the end of 2006, statistics from The Viral Factory showed that the "Numa Numa Dance" had been watched 700 million times – making it the second most watched video of all time behind only "Star Wars Kid." Research from TubeMogul shows that Brolsma's performance gained an additional 130 million views since November 2006; thus, giving the "Numa Numa Dance" a total hovering around 830 million views.

Gary Brolsma showed absolutely no fear in his on-camera appearance because he was already an experienced performer. His band The Nonetheless have been playing together since 1998 with Brolsma taking the microphone as the lead singer.

Despite his on-camera showmanship, Brolsma revealed to us that he is generally a shy person and didn't quite know how to handle his sudden viral fame as the "Numa Numa Guy." Instead of immediately cashing in on his video's success, Brolsma laid low, continued working at "Expert PC," and kept playing with his band.

It looked as if Gary "Numa Numa Guy" Brolsma would take after Ghyslain "Star Wars Kid" Raza and hide from the spotlight created by his viral dance. Eventually though Brolsma would soon learn to embrace his viral video after a meeting with Jaeter Corporation – a company specializing in media creation and business management websites. With his viral stock still through the roof, Brolsma was approached by Jaeter Corporation with the idea to create a new video.

"We sat down over the weekend, and mutually decided to make a sequel for my fans," Brolsma told us. "Once again using a foreign song, but this time to have a little more production, with a studio involved."

The "Numa Numa Guy" officially made his comeback on September 6, 2006 with "New Numa." The video differed drastically from the original "Numa Numa Dance" with professional video production by Experience Studios and a custom song by Variety Beats.

In conjunction with the new upload, Brolsma launched a contest for fans to make their own "New Numa" video and the 50 best videos received a total of $45,000 from the contest sponsors. Brolsma was happy with the finished product, but it never caught on like the original.

"Looking back on it, I believe that Experience Studios did a great job on the video, but the video as a whole didn't capture the whole 'pureness' factor that was found in the first video."

After the "New Numa" contest was over, Jaeter Corporation then set up a meeting between Gary Brolsma and Dan Balan, a former founding member of O-Zone. "He loved my video," said Brolsma.

With the massive rise in popularity of "Dragostea din tei" because of Brolsma's "Numa Numa Dance," Balan released a re-make of his song called "Sugar Tunes Numa Numa." After the two did album and DVD signings at a FYE store in New York City, Brolsma got a chance to listen through Balan's upcoming album.

"After hearing his album, when I went to make my third Numa Numa video, I liked using Dan Balan's new song, 'Crazy Loop.' I returned to just me and my webcam."

The "Numa Numa Guy" would gain more mainstream exposure in the subsquent years when he starred in a 2009 Geico ad and appeared in a 2010 Super Bowl television commercial for Vizio.

Sweet Brown new reality show

Sweet Brown new reality show, YouTube celebrity Sweet Brown became a household name last year after her reports on a house fire went viral. Now she's preparing to be all over TV and movie screens in the near future.

The overnight star is currently working on a reality show entitled The Sweet Browns, reports TheGrio. Currently in production, Sweet Brown describes the series as "a fish out of water, rags to riches series, that's a combination of The Jeffersons and The Beverly Hillbillies."

"It's going to be hilarious. You're going to really crack up," she says. The internet celebrity is also set to hit the silver screen this December in Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas.

"We filmed it already," Brown said. "Tyler is so awesome. I would love to work with him again. He just makes you feel at home."

Sweet Brown's agent says she will also make an appearance in an upcoming film starring Gabrielle Union and Louis Gossett Jr.

Her upcoming screen roles are not the only thing Sweet Brown has time for lately, she's also coming out with a game application, cookbook and a BBQ sauce called "Oh Lord Jesus It's a FIRE," all set to release later this year.

Rebecca Black Rihanna cover

Rebecca Black Rihanna cover, Rebecca Black is back with another video, and YES, "we, we, we so excited." But this time around, instead of releasing another original like her "Friday" follow-ups "Sing It" or "Person Of Interest," Rebecca is slowing things down to cover "Stay" by pop princess and professional bad gal Rihanna.

And while most people might raise an eyebrow at this (the internet will NEVER forgive or forget "Friday"), we're here to say: EASE UP, haters. She's actually pretty good! And last, but not least: If Vin Diesel can cover "Stay," anyone has a fair shot. (No shade, Vin, we openly wept for your performance.)

In the simple, sun-drenched clip, Rebecca Black is joined by fellow YouTube superstar Dave Days on acoustic guitar as she sweetly sings RiRi's heartbreaking song.

And you know what? Girl definitely has some singing chops. And she SHOULD, too -- we hear Rebecca's been taking vocal lessons and used Rihanna's track for practice. (Maybe she was also thinking of Austin Mahone for inspiration?) Can we expect more great covers and -- GASP -- some decent pop songs on Rebecca's forthcoming debut album? We can't say for sure, BUT we're kinda sorta hoping for more calendar-themed tracks and cheesy "which seat should I take?" videos in between the serious stuff.

Winnipeg's Maria Aragon records first original single

Winnipeg's Maria Aragon records first original single, Last year, at the age of 10, the youtube sensation rose to stardom when her cover of Lady Gaga's hit Born this Way was noticed by the superstar. Aragon sang the hit with Gaga herself and was featured on the Ellen Degeneres show.

The video made it to number eight on youtube around the world and was the third most watched video last year on youtube in Canada.

Now the young Winnipegger has written and recorded her first original song, called You Are Enough. The song is available as a free download on welovefreemusic.com. Manager Steven Nowack stated the song has already received more than 10,000 downloads in just two days.

In an interview with SCENE, Aragon called the experience of recording the song "amazing."

She traveled to San Francisco to make the recording with legendary producer Narada Michael Walden at his Tarpan Studios.

Aragon says Walden encouraged her to give it her all. "There was good energy in the room and it rubbed off," she explains.

Walden has a pretty good track record for 'good energy', including producing number one hits with Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin and Diana Ross.

Aragon was also there to record a song that Walden wrote for her called When I Dance With You, inspired by the spirit of Whitney Houston who had just passed away. This song will be her second release.

Aragon says she hadn't even finished writing her own song when she entered the studio. She had the first verse written and an idea for the chorus, but that was all. But suddenly "inspiration flew through me," she says, and before long the song was complete and ready to record.

"I wanted to write this song as an anthem for people who underestimate themselves," she explains. "You should be proud of who you are. That's what it's about."

Lady Gaga cover singer

Lady Gaga cover singer, We all know you can't step two feet into the Internet without getting a Lady Gaga cover all over your shoes. The cover phenomenon isn't anything new — in fact, it happens every couple of years: One massive song is the catalyst for a whole spawn of other artists to remake, cover and call their own. A few years ago it was Rihanna's "Umbrella," and before that we had a thousand versions of Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy."

With Lady Gaga, it's not just one song that other artists love to cover — it's her whole catalog. While there are a million videos and sites on the series of tubes dedicated to cover songs (like the genius Our Hit Parade), here's a quick little list of Gaga tributes that what we've come across (for better or worse).

We The Kings, "Paparazzi"
This group of sensitive pop-punkers recently performed a stripped-down version of Lady Gaga's obsessive love song, taking the dark pop anthem from synthy to sensitive.

The Demonstration, "Bad Romance"
The growling and distorted guitars over Gaga's original vocal track made such an impression on the Clawed Lady that she even tweeted about it.

Maximo Park, "Just Dance"
These British indie darlings croon their way through this club track. It almost sounds like the bastard child of Ian Curtis and Lady Gaga.

Set Your Goals, "Just Dance"
Although all the instruments in this song were replaced with kazoos, any cover with the audacity to include an all-kazoo orchestra deserves to make the list.

Chris Daughtry, "Poker Face"
Here's something novel: An "American Idol" alum covering something! While Daughtry takes the classic stripped-down acoustic approach while covering this song, he leaves the song's powerful vocal tone generally untouched.

You Me at Six, "Poker Face"
Something about Gaga leaves punk bands coming back for more, and I'm sure this won't be the only band covering her at Warped Tour this year. This group doesn't hold back on the power chords while delivering this version of the hit song (definitely a good secret weapon to have in the setlist for a singalong).

Of Mice & Men, "Poker Face"
Speaking of Warped Tour bands, Of Mice & Men has combined two things more polarizing than Sarah Palin: Screamo and Auto-Tune. By the time you reach this sentence, you're either already listening to the song or your head just exploded in the worst way.

Weezer, "Kids / Poker Face"
Over the years, Weezer has transitioned from singing about "Dungeons & Dragons" to partying hard like rock stars. Rivers Cuomo and company have always embraced the idea of change, and it's refreshing to see an established act paying homage to new acts (and in this case, it's both Gaga and MGMT).

Eric Cartman, "Poker Face"
You know that you've made an impact on the world once you've made it on "South Park." Congratulations, Lady Gaga!

While we are on the subject of Lady Gaga covers, the Commander-in-Chief of the Little Monster Army has turned out a few cover songs of her own over the years, many of which are worth a listen.

Lady Gaga, "Out on the Weekend" (Neil Young cover)
While not really a true cover, Lady Gaga pays tribute to the Great Canadian with her piano rendition of this classic cut from Harvest. Don't worry, it’s not another combination of Young and synthesizers. (Remember Trans?)

Lady Gaga, "Viva La Vida" (Coldplay cover)
Sure, it may sound a bit like her own reworking of "Poker Face," but Lady Gaga forgetting the words to a Coldplay song makes her just like us.

The following year Robinson introduced Keys to her future A&R at Arista Records, Peter Edge, who later described his first impressions to HitQuarters: “I had never met a young R&B artist with that level of musicianship. So many people were just singing on top of loops and tracks, but she had the ability, not only to be part of hip-hop, but also to go way beyond that.” Edge helped Robinson create a showcase for Keys and also got involved in developing her demo material. He was keen to sign Keys himself but was unable to do so at that time due to being on the verge of leaving his present record company. Keys signed to Columbia Records soon after.

At the same time as signing a recording contract with Columbia Records, Keys was accepted into Columbia University. At first, Keys attempted to manage both but after four weeks dropped out of college to pursue her musical career fulltime.

Antonio banderas playing picasso in 33 dias

Antonio banderas playing picasso in 33 dias, Antonio Banderas is painting himself into a corner. The 51-year-old Spanish-born actor has signed on to play Spain's most famous artist of the 20th century, Pablo Picasso, in a biopic, Variety reported.

Directed by Carlos Saura, "33 Días" ("33 Days"), covers the period that it took for Picasso to paint his famed mural, "Guernica," which captured his rage at the destruction of the Basque town of the same name in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War.

It was a period of turmoil in Picasso's personal life and his relationship with French painter Dora Maar.
"[Picasso is] a character that has pursued me for a long time and I always rejected," Banderas told the Spanish newspaper El Pais. "He deserves a lot of respect because I am from Málaga, and I was born four blocks from where he was born."

Jose Antonio Dominguez Bandera

Jose Antonio Dominguez Bandera, Refused to rely on his good-looking face and masculinity that a lot of people, especially female, have adored, Antonio Banderas has proven that there is indeed a rare quality behind his striking feature that makes him deserve to be one of Hollywood's superstars. His long resume has shown the brilliance of his skills and talent in portraying many different characters, not to mention the critics' accolade upon his works and a number of awards he has collected. Taking great risk to enter the harsh environment of American film industry, it is very proper then to mention him as presumably the most celebrated Spanish actor Hollywood ever has.

Born on August 10, 1960 to Jose Dominguez and Dona Ana Banderas as Jose Antonio Dominguez Banderas, Antonio spent his early life in his birthplace Malaga, Andalucia, Spain, together with his parents and younger brother, Francisco. He initially aimed to be a soccer player for it was this branch of sports that first caught his attention. Sadly, a terrible injury happened to his foot when he was 14, forcing him to give up his dream immediately. However, a new interest quickly took roots within him as the fifteen-years-old boy went with his family ...

to see the stage production of "Hair." Deeply interested in acting, he decided to enter the School of Dramatic Art in his hometown and shortly thereafter joined a small theater troupe consisted of other aspiring young thespians. The group soon went all around the country, landing their feet in some little towns to entertain people on the street.

After worked with the group for a period of time, Antonio moved to Madrid in 1981 and surprisingly got a chance to perform at the National Theater of Spain as an ensemble member. It was not long before he brilliantly made his way to impress Pedro Almodovar upon witnessing his remarkable talent during one of his enactments at the theater. The budding director eagerly gave him a role in his 1982 film entitled "Laberinto de pasiones" ("Labyrinth of Passion"). He then managed to earn several roles in Almodovar's other movies, including "Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios" ("Woman on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown"). Released in 1988, the movie gloriously earned Best Foreign Language Film nomination at Academy Awards in the same year, leading him to gain wide recognition both nationally and internationally. His delight doubled as Ana Leze, ...his co-star in the film, finally accepted his marriage proposal.

Already popular in Spain by the late 80's, Antonio set out to infiltrate the Hollywood film industry. His first attempt to build his reputation was through "Madonna: Truth or Dare" (1991) which turned out to be a documentary feature of the phenomenal singer. However, it was his portrayal of Nestor Castillo in "The Mambo Kings" (1992) that American audiences began to take more notice on him. Getting closer to accomplish his goal, he was successfully included in the cast of two blockbuster movies namely "Philadelphia" (1993) and "Interview With the Vampire" (1994) in which he starred alongside Hollywood superstars, Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. This was blissfully followed by a leading role as El Mariachi in a thrilling action flick entitled "Desperado" (1995). Directed by Robert Rodriguez, the film scored well, brought him to encounter his breakthrough.

As his status increasingly flourished, Antonio carefully picked up the roles for his next films. He joined Sylvester Stallone and Julianne Moore in "Assassins" (1995), then earned the top billing in a romantic comedy flick entitled "Two Much" (1995). News about the growing love between him and his opposite in the film, Melanie Griffith, ...

quickly spread throughout the country. They finally married on May 14, 1996 shortly after he divorced his wife, Ana. By September 24, the couple happily welcomed their first daughter, Stella del Carmen. In the meantime, Antonio reunited with Madonna in a musical drama movie of "Evita" (1996), displaying a fabulous dramatic performance while also making people impressed with his dancing and singing skills. His superb acting was indeed valued high as he received a nomination of Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Comedy/Musical at the 54th Annual Golden Globe Awards in 1997.

Antonio's star shone more radiant when he took part in "The Mask of Zorro" (1998), being in the same scene with Anthony Hopkins and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Critically acclaimed, the film garnered the income of almost 95 million U.S. dollar, boosting his career to the peak. He again was honored a nomination at Golden Globe Awards by the following year, this time in the category of Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Comedy/Musical. Although his 1999 projects, "The 13th Warrior" and "Play It to the Bone", did not quite meet everyone's expectation, he remained a hot commodity among Hollywood filmmakers. .

Once again collaborated with Rodriguez, he appeared in a family-oriented comedy feature of "Spy Kids" (2001). The tremendous success of this flick later made him reprise the role of Gregorio Cortez in its two sequels, "Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams" (2002) and "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over" (2003).

2003 proved to be a wonderful year for Antonio for he scored another success through his return as El Mariachi in "Desperado 2: Once Upon a Time in Mexico." He then turned his attention to TV, portraying the title character in HBO's "And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself." Not only lauded by critics, he, for the third time, was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television at the 61st Annual Golden Globe Awards held in 2004. On the other hand, his role ignited some criticisms from Mexican people since they did not approve the idea of a Spaniard representing the character of their foremost local hero. Nevertheless, he moved on, teaming up with Mike Myers and Cameron Diaz to hit the box-office with "Shrek 2" (2004) in which he voiced Puss In Boots before appearing in "The Legend of Zorro" ...

(2005) and "Take the Lead" (2006).

Next reprised his voice-acting stint in "Shrek the Third" (2007), Antonio effortlessly continued to strive high in elaborating his acting resume for the rest of he first decade of 2000s. Included in the list were other 2007 productions of "Homeland Security" and "Memoirs of Hadrian" as well as "Lovers, Liars and Thieves" (2009), "Conquistador" (2009), "Shrek 4" (2010), and "Puss in Boots" (2010), a spin-off movie in the "Shrek" franchise.

Winona ryder beetlejuice 2

Winona ryder beetlejuice 2, Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice hit theaters in 1988, but demand for a sequel remains surprisingly strong more than two decades later. The project began showing new signs of (after)life last year, with the announcement that Pride and Prejudice and Zombies author Seth Grahame-Smith is onboard to write up a script for Beetlejuice 2 with the intention to bring Michael Keaton back as the delightfully-demented freelance bio-exorcist.

Burton later made it known that he’s interested in helming the Beetlejuice sequel, so long as both he and Keaton approve of Smith’s draft. However, Winona Ryder – who reunited with the Gothic filmmaker for his Frankenweenie feature – says that she plans to find out for herself whether there’s more to this project than just rumor and talk.

Ryder, who turns 41 next month (anyone feeling old?), has reason to be skeptical about the prospect of a followup to Burton’s horror-comedy classic. A sequel titled Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian was written up back in the early 1990s, but it never came to fruition. Moreover, the under-performance of Burton’s Dark Shadows as well as Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter – both of which were written by Smith – suggests Warner Bros. may now be more wary of greenlighting Smith’s Beetlejuice 2 script.

Smith has confirmed that his Beetlejuice 2 script is a “true continuation” of the first film that picks up some 26 years after the fact – like the Farrelly Brothers’ developing Dumb and Dumber 2 - and thus, it is feasible that Ryder could return as an older version of (former?) goth gal Lydia Deetz. When MTV last spoke with Smith on the subject, he offered a rough outline of his progress on the project:

“I am hopefully going to write it this year. I’ve gone and met with Tim Burton about it, I’ve gone and met with Michael Keaton about it. In theory everybody would be open to it if the script is good, so now it’s just my job to make sure the script is good.”

Long-gestating sequels like Beetlejuice 2 tend to inspire much more caution than optimism; it does not help that Smith is coming off a pair of films that have left many questioning his screenwriting abilities. On the other hand, the Beetlejuice sequel is more of the simple, yet idiosyncratic, mix of camp horror and comedy that should play to Smith’s strengths as a storyteller.

Not to mention, the potential for a reunion of former Burton “muses” Keaton and Ryder makes Beetlejuice 2 sound all the more appealing to us. Maybe bringing the old band together, so to speak, would help Burton get his groove back, when it comes to live-action filmmaking, in the aftermath of a lackluster reception for Dark Shadows.

Winona laura horowitz

Winona laura horowitz, Winona Ryder was born Winona Laura Horowitz and named after the town in which she was born, Winona, Minnesota. She grew up in a ranch commune in Northern California which had no electricity. She is the goddaughter of Timothy Leary. Her parents were friends of Beat poet Allen Ginsberg and once edited a book called "Shaman Woman Mainline Lady", an anthology of writings on the drug experience in literature, which included one piece by Louisa May Alcott. Winona Ryder was later to star as Jo March in this author's Little Women (1994).

Ryder moved with her parents to Petaluma, California when she was ten and enrolled in acting classes at the American Conservatory Theater. At age 13, she had a video audition to the film Desert Bloom (1986), but did not get the part. However, director David Seltzer spotted her and cast her in Lucas (1986). When telephoned to ask how she would like to have her name appear on the credits, she suggested Ryder as her father's Mitch Ryder album was playing the background. Ryder was selected for the part of Mary Corleone in The Godfather: Part III (1990), but had to drop out of the role after catching the flu from the strain of doing the films Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael (1990) and Mermaids (1990) back to back. She said she did not want to let everyone down by doing a substandard performance. She later made The Age of Innocence (1993), which was directed by Martin Scorsese, whom she believes to be "the best director in the world".

Personal Quotes
When asked why is she always playing teenagers, during a press junket for Mermaids (1990) in 1990: "Like, I'm nineteen. What am I supposed to do, play a judge?!"

I read biographies of the greats, and they were so messed up that I thought I'd better mess myself up. But I couldn't. I'm too small.

For a long time I was almost ashamed of being an actress. I felt like it was a shallow occupation. People would be watching my every move.

On Heathers (1988): "It's a brilliant piece of literature, and I call it literature because it really is. I held it up next to 'Catcher in the Rye' and all the great books that I've read."

I don't feel threatened like Julia Roberts. Pretty Woman (1990) turned her into an overnight celebrity rather than an actress. Now her whole career is about box- office - - if her movies don't break $l00-million. It's not a burden I'd ever want to carry.

On Alien: Resurrection (1997): I couldn't hold my own against Sigourney Weaver and those special effects. I still don't know what I was doing in that movie. I look at it now and realize I really didn't belong. I'm just this little girl running around.

I still practice Buddhism to a certain extent and I believe in karma.

My father is an atheist. My mother is Buddhist. They encouraged my siblings and me to take the best part of other religions to make our own belief system.

I live in San Francisco, I have an apartment in New York, but I'm here all the time. Nobody knows. .. . You can't stay away. I'm a San Franciscan to the bone.

I love westerns. John Ford is one of the 10 best directors.

Focus should be on the art of film, not on the business of film.

My godfather Timothy Leary coined the phrase 'question authority', it is one of my favorites. To question our government is the most important thing people can do right now in the US.

[Explaining why she never felt guilty about her shoplifting arrest]: I didn't have this tremendous sense of guilt because I hadn't hurt anyone. Had I physically harmed someone or caused harm to a human being, I think it would have been an entirely different experience.

On The Godfather: Part III (1990): I was devastated because I love the Godfather movies so much. What happened was I'd done Mermaids (1990) and we were shooting for spring in the coldest winter in Boston's history, and I got an upper respiratory infection. The day I wrapped I had to get on a plane to Italy. I actually passed out in the costume-fitting. I was just exhausted, and the next thing I knew I was at home with my parents. The film's insurance people said I needed to be in bed for a few weeks. I was heartbroken, but at the same time I was so sick it was a relief. And Al [Pacino] and Francis [Ford Coppola] and Diane [Keaton] all called me and were really nice, which meant a lot. I felt bad in a way because they were so mean to Sofia [Coppola], who's always been so nice to me.

(On Kate Winslet when Winona was on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" (1993) in 2000) I'm captivated by her. I think that she's the most beautiful, talented, extraordinary actresses ever to grace the screen. I watch her movies over and over. It's kind of like one of those kids how they were with Elvis. I mean, I worship her...I met her once, and I was tongue-tied, and palms were sweating...There's something about her that I'm sort of in love with. I just think she's amazing.

I'm the happiest I've ever been. I'm not going to turn into Gloria Swanson and sit in my mansion watching my movies, with a crazy cigarette holder ... but I feel so blessed to have done the things that I've done.

I don't know if it's because of my love of books and the pages and the print-there's just so much romance in them-but I hate all these doublespeak abbreviations like 'OMG' and 'LOL.' I still don't know if that means 'Laugh Out Loud' or 'Lots of Love.'

I was out at a bar with a friend who said, 'Do you realize that in America you're never going to be able to meet a guy who knows nothing about you? Everyone will have preconceived ideas about who you are.' I got so bummed out. I'd never really thought about it that way.

What's awful about being famous and being an actress is when people come up to you and touch you. That's scary, and they just seem to think it's okay to do it, like you're public property.

I think too much. I think ahead. I think behind. I think sideways. I think it all. If it exists, I've fucking thought of it.

[on Tim Burton] He gave me my career. Actually, if you think about it, I don't think I would be an actress if Beetlejuice (1988) hadn't come along, because I really wasn't thriving in those auditions. I'd just done a couple things, but I had black hair and was very pale, and that movie led to other things. So yeah, he gave me a career.

I don't know if it's a cold - it's just that my voice was kind of going. But it's back, so I'm actually okay. In a weird way, I was actually hoping that whatever voice thing I've got could stay so that I could sort of have a Debra Winger thing going on. I've always loved her voice. But it's getting better, so I'm going to sound like me.

Looking back - and this is all in retrospect - I did have a lot of success and a lot of great opportunities earlier in my career. But I did also have this thing that was sort of happening in my late twenties where, whether it was because of how I looked or because I started so young, even though I was the right age for things, people didn't think that I was old enough.

I was starting to have some trouble before that. I think a lot of people think that that is what sort of sent me off in another direction, but I was actually starting to have some trouble a few years before. And then there were also a couple of movies that I was going to do, that were all set up, and then, at the last minute, they fell apart... And with what happened... I was living up in San Francisco and I really needed the time off, which ended up being a couple of years. In a weird way, it was almost like the best thing that could have happened because I'd never asked myself the question before of, 'Is it okay if I'm not going to act? Is there anything else?' because that was all that I really knew.

I have to admit, though, that every time I hear 'comeback, blah, blah, blah,' it's kind of hard for me. I'm not trying to be super-sensitive at all, but there is a little bit of defensiveness because I do feel like I have contributed. Even if I'd just made Beetlejuice and Heathers, I put in work.

I'm in Brooklyn. I'm actually trying to do the bi-coastal thing now for real. I did it before, but not really. My home is San Francisco - that is definitely what I consider my home. But I have a little place for when I'm in L.A., and then there's this apartment in Williamsburg, which is the part of Brooklyn where my dad grew up. He came to visit... It's just so hip now.

I remember one time in particular. I was in the middle of auditioning, and I was mid-sentence when the casting director said, "Listen, kid. You should not be an actress. You are not pretty enough. You should go back to wherever you came from and you should go to school. You don't have it." She was very blunt - I honestly think that she thought she was doing me a favor.

[on her childhood] I was once told that I was playing, and John Lennon was there. I was too young to know who he was. I got in trouble because I gave something to his son Sean. I get told all these amazing stories, but at that time, they were just grown-ups. Now I'm older, I'm like, 'What!?' Because now I have the appreciation.
