Kristen Stewart Mom Robert Pattinson, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are reportedly working things out. They presumably separated after Kristen Stewart admitted to getting cozy with her married Snow White and the Hunstman director, Rupert Sanders this summer.
So, what brought the Twilight powercouple back together, besides their duties to promote Breaking Dawn Part 2, which they both star. If you believe recent reports, Kristen Stewart’s mom, Jules, who is currently in the process of divorcing Stewart’s father, helped bring Kristen and Rob together again.
“Jules is the glue that’s keeping Kristen and Rob together,” a source close to the couple told Radar Online. “It ripped her heart in two when she saw those pictures of Kristen in a compromising situation with Rupert – and she couldn’t believe what her daughter had done.”
According to the report, Jules thought Rob was the perfect match for her daughter and didn’t want him to be the one that got away
“As far as Jules was concerned, Kristen’s relationship with Robert was a match made in heaven and she adored him like he was her own son. At first, she struggled to understand why Kristen wanted to cheat on him.”
Jules was forgiving of her daughter’s mistake and tried to help the actress, 22, “win” her leading man back.
This week, although there were reports that Rob and Kristen were spotted out together to dinner and holding hands, the wounds from the cheating scandal haven’t completely healed.
“The love story between Robert and Kristen is still a bit of a conundrum, it’s a weird relationship” the Radar source had added. “Despite claims that all is rosy – he’s still not completely convinced that giving their relationship another chance is the right thing to do.
There are moments when he continually asks her questions about the affair – so it’s all still very tense — they have some really serious trust issues. But they were brought together again by a great friendship so there could be hope.”
