New Jersey home invasion, A New Jersey home invasion video has gone viral, after a mother of two was severely and brutally beaten by an attacker in her home, stunning viewers across the nation.
The horrific attack took place in Millburn, New Jersey, and was caught on a baby cam in the woman's living room.
In the disturbing video the woman is seen watching cartoons with her young daughter. But she then gets up after hearing a noise coming from the other room. However, suddenly an intruder barges into the living room and throws her to the ground and starts punching her repeatedly in the face.
The young girl remains frozen on the sofa as the horrific attack unfolds, only moving initially to cover her face with a pillow.\
The mother can be seen trying to get up, but the man continues to kick, choke and punch her.
The attacker then drags the woman across the floor and opens a side door, throwing the mother down the stairs to a basement area. He then walks around the house calmly looking to jewelry, ignoring the terrified young girl.
It has since been realized that there was another younger child, a one year old, sleeping upstairs during the attack. Also the mother has admitted that she tried her hardest not to scream out during the entire attack out of fear of terrifying her little girl. She has said that she was afraid that if she screamed her little girl would also scream and cry, drawing the attention of the attacker onto her.
The woman survived the terrifying incident, and minutes after the man left she managed to emerge and call 911. She was rushed to a local hospital and treated for severe injuries to her face and legs.
Authorities have released the footage of the attack with the permission of the mother, who has said she hoped the video would ensure that the man is identified and caught for the brutal and frightening attack and robbery.
