Impala cheetah video: 'Amazing' footage of impala jumping in SUV goes viral, An impala cheetah video has made its way on to the internet and it's going viral. On July 10, The Inquisitr reported that an Impala was trying to escape from the hungry cheetah so it did the only logical thing it could think of: It jumped into a tourist's car. Basically, there were a bunch of cars on safari in South Africa and they were all right in the middle of an impala dash for safety.
"One of the impalas [leaped] into the window of one of the cars. According to the narrator from Barcroft TV, no people were injured in the incident. The people in the car were able to open the door and let the impala back out into the wild," The Inquisitr reported.
The impala cheetah video is pretty incredible to watch but it's also very frightening. The impala hits the SUV with a thump and the people who caught it on video definitely sounded concerned. Really, even the cheetah looks a bit stunned. It almost seems like the impala was attempting to jump over the SUV but if you watch a second time, it seems clear that it purposely jumped in to the vehicle.
Obviously this could have become a very dangerous situation rather quickly as impalas are wild animals (even though many find them cute). The animal, however, wasn't hurt and neither were the tourists in the car. The impala escaped death for one more day.
