Bill Cowher daughter, When a marriage proposal goes well, there is no place like social media for a romantic announcement. According to a May 26 Inquisitr report, former Duke Blue Devil’s basketball forward Ryan Kelly is engaged to Bill Cowher’s daughter Lindsay Cowher.
The excited groom-to-be posted a picture of the couple’s hands featuring the stunning engagement ring to his Twitter followers on Thursday. Accompanying the photo was his euphoric exclamation, “The love of my life @lindsaycowher said yes! #sohappy #blessed.”
The former Pittsburgh Steelers’ coach is no stranger to welcoming athletes into his family. The bride-to-be’s oldest sister Meaghan is married to the Carolina Hurricanes’ hockey player Kevin Westgarth, reports the Inquisitr.
Kelly, who just finished his senior year, is reportedly being touted as a possible draft pick in the NBA Draft next month, according to WTAE.com Pittsburgh. Lindsay, for her part is no slouch either. She played basketball at Fox Chapel School before moving to Raleigh, North Carolina, where she and her fiancé attended Ravenscroft High School together. She also played basketball at Wofford College.
