Sandberg steroid opinion

Sandberg steroid opinion, A Ryne Sandberg steroid opinion has surfaced and the former Chicago Cubs Hall of Fame star made clear his thoughts on the steroid era. According to NBC Sports on May 17, Sandberg does not feel like Sammy Sosa and others who failed steroid tests deserve to be in the baseball Hall of Fame.

Sandberg, currently serving as the Philadelphia Phillies third base coach said that players who were involved with performance enhancing drugs don't deserve to be in there and he said the people who vote are still keeping the integrity in the Hall of Fame.

However, he also made a curious comment when he said there are "no suspicions about guys who are in the Hall of Fame."

Men in the Hall of Fame have been guilty of drug use, including Willie Mays, Mike Schmidt and Hank Aaron. He also did an interview four years ago about the same subject and the Sandberg steroid opinion at that time mentioned the word integrity being important for the Hall of Fame, which makes a player like Ty Cobb questionable as well.

While Sandberg's steroid opinion is valid when it comes to cheating the game, but to ignore the sins of the past and make it sound like the steroid era was the worst blemish on the sport might be looking at baseball history through rose colored glasses.
