J.R. Martinez & Diana Gonzalez-Jones Celebrate Baby Shower, Expectant parents J.R. Martinez and Diana Gonzalez-Jones celebrated their baby shower in style! “It was a beautifully day for Diana and J.R., they were surrounded by so much love,” shower stylist Jayneoni Moore tells Celebrity Baby Scoop exclusively.
Favorite gifts included an Orbit stroller, Fisher Price items, Daddy Scrubs ‘I’m the Daddy’ hospital scrubs, and Happy Heiny reusable cloth diapers.
Hosted by All My Children executive producer Julie Carruthers at her Hollywood Hills home, the couple were joined by 40 friends and family.
The cake was by Sugar Fairy Bakeshop. Red velvet is Diana’s favorite and friends joked during the shower that the baby better like red velvet because for every birthday party and holiday Diana and J.R. will have red velvet cakes.
Diana and JR received a scrapbook for their daughter-on-the way whom they say is “spoiled already.” The keepsake photo album was made exclusively by the guests of the shower who each decorated a page a shared a special message about J.R. and Diana, which Diana tearfully read during the shower
J.R. stated that he is very excited to meet his daughter and enjoy the newborn stage. But most of all, the expectant dad is most excited when his little girl will begin to talk and they can have conversations and he will be able to see the world again through her eyes.
The Dancing with the Stars alum went on to joke that the names Blue and Apple were out of the cards for his daughter.
