APPETIZINGLY AWESOME CELEBRITY JUDGE for this year’s So You Think You Can Skate competition! And she’s one of our own.
As the famed host of the Cooking for Real and How’d That Get On My Plate TV shows on the Food Network, Sunny Anderson shines her bright rays back on SONIC, where she got her foot in the culinary door.
Sunny first appeared on the Food Network in October 2005 as a guest on the Emeril Live program, and later began hosting her own shows in 2008, putting her own twists on traditional comfort foods. But it was servin’ it up skate-style as a SONIC Carhop during her teenage years in San Antonio, Texas, that inspired her to burst onto the food industry scene.
Obviously, she is the most perfect person to judge flair, personality and Carhopping skills at the So You Think You Can Skate Contest finals on Monday, September 12.
Alongside past SYTYCS medalists, Sunny will add her bubbly, fun energy to the judging of Quad Roller Skating, Inline Skating skills, SONIC Skating Carhop skills, Guest Service and Delivery skills, as well as flair, originality and overall appeal.
Amidst the fun, she will be doing SONIC Live Radio remotes and broadcasting to all stores. After the competition, Sunny will personally award the Gold, Silver and Bronze medalists onstage. She will also give out the awards for the top three stores with the highest skating percentage in each region. Hope you’re all skatin’ your hearts out, people!
