News, says a 15-year-old boy has been arrested after he allegedly killed two of his younger siblings in the family home. Cops say they found the teen "miles away with traces of blood on him," after the bodies of two of his siblings were found with knife wounds inside the family home.
Davis County Sheriff, Todd Richardson, says the teen "spoke bluntly with... investigators," about what happened on Wednesday evening when he was left home alone with his two adopted brothers, ages 4 and 10. The family has six children, four of whom are adopted.
Their mother left the 15-year-old home alone with his two younger siblings to take the other three children to a dance recital. Upon returning home she found the bodies of her two young sons. Authorities initially believed the 15-year-old was a victim as well, but they located him later that night walking along a street in a neighboring town with "injuries [that] were consistent with having been involved in an attack."
Reports also show the teen has no documented troubling history, apart from a runaway incident a few years ago. However neighbors claim the teen seemed "different." In a neighborhood where all the children wanted to be outside and socialize, this 15-year-old "kept to himself," and was rarely seen unless he was out for a jog.
According to the report at Yahoo! News, "the younger brothers died from knife wounds following the attack, according to a preliminary report by the medical examiner, and the 15-year-old allegedly acted alone, apparently on an impulse."
