Gmc recall, General Motors is recalling nearly 200,000 mid-size SUVs because the power door and window module in the driver's door can catch fire, even when it's not being used. The glitch is because of a circuit board in the door that could short, sparking a fire.
The vehicles involved are the Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier, Saab 9-7x and Isuzu Ascender from the 2006 and 2007 model years.
In August, GM recalled almost 250,000 SUV's because of the same problem, but that recall was limited to vehicles sold in the 20 Snow Belt States, which includes New York. GM is notifying owners. Dealers will repair the vehicles for free.
