On May 27, PEOPLE Magazine reported that the "Twilight" heartthrob and the "Teenage Dream" singer were at a wedding rehearsal of two strangers -- just sitting and watching everything go down.
"Katy and Rob were just sitting next to each other watching the wedding rehearsal in the main courtyard area. They were dressed very casually. She was wearing a hoodie and big sunglasses. There was no PDA between them and no body language that showed they were dating. They just sat together and watched," said a friend of the bride.
Pattinson and Katy Perry are not dating as far as the public knows but there have been rumors that Perry was the driving force behind Rob's split from Kristen Stewart. Now that they were seen together, people are starting to wonder if there is more going on between them.
While Rob and Kristen have been friends with Katy for years, this new report is suggesting that Rob and Katy might be taking their friendship to another level -- either that or Rob is just leaning on Katy following his break-up.
"They were not affiliated with the wedding party and were not seen mingling with guests," continued the source, adding that she had "no idea" why Katy and Rob were there.
