Blake Lively Ring, Shows Off Ring—and Ryan Reynolds—at First Post-Wedding Red Carpet Appearance---She's back! We're not sure if it was a lingering newlywed glow or just the shine coming off that enormous ring, but either way, Blake Lively was the picture of golden goddessdom at last night's mouthful of an event, the Chanel Bijoux De Diamant 80th Anniversary party.
While Blake hasn't exactly been a hermit these days, turning up just this past week at pal Amber Tamblyn's star-studded wedding, the Chanel event marked Blake's first public appearance since becoming Mrs. Ryan Reynolds last month, and the Gossip Girl star's return to the spotlight was certainly something to behold.
In addition to being accompanied by her hunky hubby, the 25-year-old (also the new face of Chanel's Mademoiselle bag) turned up at the event in a (of course) Chanel couture backless silk silver halterneck midi-length dress with pale pink paneling.
And, stunning though it was, it wasn't so much the dress as the accessory that caught the eye of photographers.
While Blake initially attempted to pocket away her wedding and engagement ring, she eventually relented and allowed the sparkler to blind be snapped by the press.
And drooled over by everyone else.
