Bon Jovi slams Bieber, Jon Bon Jovi slammed Justin Bieber recently for showing up late for multiple concerts earlier this spring and disappointing his fans, according to the New York Post on May 21.
During one incident in March, 19-year-old Canadian heartthrob Justin Bieber was booed by fans after he showed up nearly two hours late for a concert in London at the O2 Arena.
Bon Jovi said in an interview with the London Evening Standard on Monday that Bieber is risking alienating his fans if he continues his disappointing behavior.
American rocker 51-year-old Jon Bon Jovi is known for his hard work and success as a musician and lead singer for Bon Jovi, a band founded by Jon Bon Jovi in 1983. Said Bon Jovi of Bieber's tardiness, "Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won't have you back. Then it just becomes a cliche. It's really not cool - you're an a**hole. Go to f**kin' work!"
Jon also said that every generation has guys who do that, and it is nothing new, but they run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who work hard to pay for their tickets. Bieber blamed his late appearance at the O2 Arena on technical issues.
Bon Jovi is scheduled to appear at Hyde Park on July 5 for the Barclaycard British Summer Time festival, where guitarist Richie Sambora will not be joining the band. Sambora pulled out of the current Because We Can world tour, citing only personal reasons.
Jon hinted around that Sambora may be missing due to the same reason he pulled out in 2011 when he went into rehab for alcohol abuse. Said Jon, “It’s getting more and more difficult every day to not just sit here and say something... Because all I can say is this — it’s for personal reasons. He did say, though, that the same guy who filled in for Sambora in 2011 was available to fill in for him this time.
