Kelly Clarkson ring, Kelly Clarkson had a very big weekend. Not only did she release her upcoming country album artwork, she misplaced her very expensive engagement ring.
Kelly Clarkson is gearing up for her fall wedding in a big way. She not only has Blake Shelton officiating her wedding, but she's practicing for the big day with her new album artwork.
The cover of her new country single "Tie It Up" shows the American Idol winner wearing a wedding dress with a veil and her own engagement ring accessorizing the bridal look. She shared the photo with her WhoSay account followers on Saturday.
That was the fun part of the day for the singer because something more dramatic happened to her over the weekend: Clarkson misplaced her $150,000 engagement ring.
While at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Tenn., the "Stronger" singer realized she forgot to wear her custom-designed ring by jeweler Johnathon Arndt. Clarkson felt so bad about the oversight that she kept apologizing to her fiancé, Brandon Blackstock.
She didn't find her ring until the following day. She updated her followers on Twitter.
Clarkson wrote, "For all of the concerned fans, I found my rings! Seriously, panicked in my head all night long . . . so did Brandon!"
After years recording pop music, the 31-year-old is dipping her toes into the country music scene. Her appearance at the CMA Music Festival was her first time singing at country event with her own music.
According to CMT.com, she shared her excitement with the audience, saying, "This is my first official set at a country thing. I've been nervous all day because I wanted to be good for you!"
Clarkson and Blackstock are marrying in the fall in Nashville.
