Hobbled Alex Rodriguez has sold his jaw-dropping Miami Beach mansion for a cool $30 million, half of which is profit, a report said Wednesday.
He bought the waterfront estate in 2010 for $7.4 million and then shelled out another $7.6 million to build out his dream home — a 20,000-square-foot modern manse with two docks, a vanishing edge pool and a Zen garden.
Three years later, the 37-year-old third baseman is offloading the nine-bedroom, 11-bath megacrib, according to TMZ.
“The entire Miami luxury market is very strong right now,” said Chad Carroll, luxury sales director for Douglas Elliman Florida. “The stock market is at record highs, the economy is looking good, and we're seeing one record breaking sale after another.”
Rodriguez initially listed the house at $38 million but took it off the market in January to rent it for more than $125,000 a month, sources told the Daily News.
The $30 million buyer is a mystery, but rumor had it the renters were Saudi princes.
