Catherine Zeta-Jones, LINDSAY Lohan faces a lawsuit from a clothing company who allege her "druggie" reputation cost them money. Meanwhile, Catherine Zeta-Jones has left a clinic after treatment for bipolar and Chris Brown appears to have moved on after his split from Rihanna, heading into the arms of ex Karrueche Tran.
Lindsay Lohan is being counter-sued by a clothing company who allege her "druggie" reputation damaged their brand.
In her lawsuit, Lohan says she struck a business deal with clothing company D.N.A.M. in 2009 allowing them to manufacture clothes for her '6126' clothing line - but D.N.A.M. ripped her off on a massive licensing fee. Lohan wants $US1.1 million ($1.12 million) in damages.
But D.N.A.M. is now coming back at Lohan for nearly five times that amount, insisting she's the reason their business deal fell apart.
D.N.A.M. claims Lohan's "drug-addled image" destroyed 6126’s reputation, and rendered the clothing line completely unsellable - and now it's suing for breach of contract and fraud, demanding at least $5 million in damages. Again.
Catherine Zeta-Jones has left a Los Angeles clinic after completing treatment for bipolar II disorder. Speaking to reporters in Cannes, where he is promoting his HBO movie about the life of Liberace, Behind The Candelbra, Michael Douglas said he was "proud" of his wife. "She comes home tomorrow," said Douglas. "She’s doing a really good job of getting balanced."
Zeta-Jones previously sought help in 2011 for the disorder. Her spokeswoman said, "Catherine has pro-actively checked into a health-care facility," adding, "Previously, Catherine has said that she is committed to periodic care in order to manage her health in an optimum manner." We wish her well.
Chris Brown has wasted no time in moving on from not "wife-ing" Rihanna and heading back into the ever-forgiving arms of another ex, Karrueche Tran. Brown was spotted getting up close to Tran after Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards at the Bellagio in Las Vegas for a party hosted by Bruno Mars. Meanwhile, Rihanna was seen dining alone in Los Angeles.
Oklahoma native Carrie Underwood has taken to Twitter to express her sympathies to the people of Moore who have been left devastated by a horrific tornado. Underwood tweeted, “Growing up in tornado alley, you always know what could happen…it doesn’t change how devastating it is when something does happen. #pray”
The tornado virtually wiped the town of Moore, Oklahoma, off the map, leaving a trail of destruction that more resembled a war zone.
Celebs like Beyonce, Olivia Munn and Fergie also took to Twitter and Instagram to share their thoughts, and also to offer condolences to the people affected by the tornado.
LeAnn Rimes and Brandi Glanville have taken their never-ending feud straight to Twitter again (as you do). "I’ve been trying to get a hold of my kids 4 over an hour no response to my calls, emails or messages. Maybe twitter will work," Brandi tweeted.
And of course it provoked a very public response from LeAnn.
"Funny, she just got off the phone w/ them. Sorry, we were doing baths, homework & dinner. All good!" Let’s hope just once these two can work their issues out privately, although we’re not sure either of them know what the word means.
