Missing girl under bed: 4-year-old child found alive and well in relative's home, A missing girl under bed story began to trend this afternoon after SF Gate reported this Saturday, June 1, that despite a 4-year-old child going missing this Friday night, the young girl was in fact found under the bed in the very same house that she had disappeared in the first place.
According to the report, police officials confirmed that Amia Renee of Richmond has been found alive and well hiding under the bed. The missing girl was reported as having disappeared this Friday night while she was visiting her relatives.
Fortunately, only a few hours after the local community and family began searching for the 4-year-old, the child was found underneath a bed at the house she was in fact visiting. It seems, then, that this missing girl under bed headline may have been little more than a game of hide and seek, though the child might not have been able to call for help or leave the bed.
One officer said,
"She was surrounded by many different items and unfortunately had gone undetected.”
The missing girl is now fine. NBC Bay Area added that several of the girls family members were frantically out searching for the child when they received a call that she had been found unharmed.
While this missing girl under bed story was indeed alarming for the Richmond community and the public at large, no doubt, it is such a relief to have this type of news update be a positive one for the missing child and her family.
