NFL player stabbing, An NFL player stabbing is making news headlines throughout the internet this weekend, as Fox Sports reported this Sunday, June 2, that Pittsburgh Steelers’ Mike Adams was stabbed yesterday morning when three men attempted to steal his truck.
According to the report, the offensive tackle was simply waiting at the side of his truck at 3 a.m. in Pittsburgh when no less than three man confronted him, threatening to carjack the NFL player.
The NFL player stabbing occurred after the armed individuals — one of the men, said Mike Adams in a police report, wielded a knife while the other held a handgun — attempted the truck robbery. After Adams told the three men he wasn’t carrying his car keys, the armed gunman pointed the weapon in his face and the other stabbed him twice in the abdomen and arm.
The three men then fled the scene.
Demonstrating his physical endurance, the NFL player was able to make it to a restaurant a close ways away after the stabbing. He was rushed to UPMC Mercy Hospital, where he was quickly treated for the stab injuries. Officials confirmed he is now stable, and his injuries aren’t life-threatening.
Mike Adams soon took to Twitter after the NFL player stabbing, writing how grateful he is to be alive to his followers:
