George Clooney and Stacy Keibler split, George Clooney and Stacy Keibler have split after dating for two years, People reports.
It was apparently Keibler who broke things off with the Oscar-winning actor and director.
"Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that," a source close to the couple told People. "They talked and they quietly stopped being a couple several weeks ago."
The source adds that Clooney, 52, and Keibler, 33, remain on good terms: "They talk every day. They were friends before they started dating and they'll be friends after. It was a friendly [breakup]."
The couple had been spending time apart in recent months. According to People, the last time they were photographed together was in March in Berlin, where Clooney was filming a movie.
Keibler will appear next as the host of the show "Supermarket Superstar," premiering July 22 on Lifetime. Clooney's latest film, "Gravity," will open the Venice Film Festival next month.
