Armie Hammer's Wife Elizabeth Chambers Reveals Why He Wanted to Get Married, The Lone Ranger is far from lonely.
"When we finally got together, Armie really wanted to get married," the movie star's wife, Elizabeth Chambers, tells Town & Country for its August issue, in which the two discuss their love story.
"He sat me down and said, 'Look, we don't have to do this. We could just go our own ways, and then one day you'll be 40 and divorced and we'll run into each other, and we'll laugh and go out to dinner and have this same connection, and we'll wonder why we wasted all of that time,' " says Chambers. " 'Or we could just do it now and enjoy the ride.'"
Romance is nothing out of the ordinary for Hammer, 26, who married Chambers, 30, in 2010.
Last fall, Hammer was spotted carrying Chambers – Prince Charming style – out of a race car at an Audi event.
The Lone Ranger, which also stars Johnny Depp (who recently turned 50), opens in theaters July 3.
