Soul2Soul show at the Venetian in Las Vegas, Country music sweethearts Faith Hill and Tim McGraw team up for a night of their greatest hit songs in their new show, Soul2Soul, at the Venetian. Soul2Soul is the first time in six years that Hill and McGraw have performed together on stage in the United States. The show is slated to run for 10 weekends through April 2013.
As two of country music's top-selling artists, McGraw and Hill typically perform in huge arenas to audiences of upwards of 50,000 people. On the Las Vegas Strip, fans will have a chance to see the Grammy Award-winning entertainers in an intimate concert format with innovative lighting and set design reminiscent of their Soul2Soul concerts. Soul2Soul takes place in the 1,815-seat theater, formerly the home of "Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular." The set list includes many of Hill's and McGraw's No. 1 hit songs presented in an all-new way for audiences at the Venetian. The pair worked to create a show that's both fun for them and unique for their fans.
McGraw and Hill have been dominating the music charts since the early '90s. They began performing together in 2000 in their record-breaking "Soul2Soul" tour, becoming that year's top-grossing and most successful U.S. tour. In 2006, their success continued when "Soul2Soul II" returned to the road. It became the highest-grossing country music tour of all time, the most attended of the year in any musical genre and remains the highest-grossing multiyear North American tour in country music history.
Alone, McGraw has sold more than 40 million records worldwide. With hit songs, including "Live Like You Were Dying," "Everywhere" and "Real Good Man," he dominated the charts with 32 No. 1 singles. McGraw has won three Grammy Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, 11 Country Music Association Awards, 10 American Music Awards, three People's Choice Awards and numerous other honors. With 7.8 million spins on radio, McGraw was deemed Artist of the Decade from 2000-2010 by Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems. Along with his music, McGraw is an accomplished actor. Some of his film credits include "Country Strong," the Academy Award nominated "The Blind Side," "Four Christmases," "The Kingdom," "Flicka" and "Friday Night Lights."
With 19 years of performing under her belt, Hill has an equally impressive resume. She has sold more than 30 million records worldwide, during which time she has celebrated 13 No. 1 singles and 20 No. 1 videos. She was the first female artist to have three studio albums -- 1999's "Breathe," 2002's "Cry" and 2005's "Fireflies" -- all debut consecutively at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Pop Album Chart and Country Chart. Hill is a five-time Grammy Award winner, who has also won three Country Music Association Awards, 12 Academy of Country Music Awards, four American Music Awards and four People's Choice Awards. Football fans will recognize Hill as the voice of NBC's Sunday Night Football's weekly show opening. This is her fifth consecutive year being featured on the show.
Together, these powerhouse performers create a memorable night of music. There's bound to be plenty of fun surprises in store when Hill and McGraw take the stage in Vegas.
