Ashlee Simpson Backless, Ashlee Simpson has been largely out of the limelight as of late, but it looks like that’s about to change! The sister of Fashion Star mentor Jessica Simpson wowed fans while showing a little skin at a recent New York City gala. Not a bad look for one hot mama!
The Simpson family loves to distinguish itself as a group of fashion-forward celebrities. While Jessica’s options have been a bit limited due to a second pregnancy, Ashlee is still busy working the red carpet. Her latest appearance proved that the celeb has come a long ways since her black banged, grungy look of the early 2000s.
She showed off in a stunning backless gown by Alice + Olivia. The dress included a lace overlay on the top half, along with a peplum accent at the waist and plenty of sparkles. Ashlee also proved her impeccable accessorizing skills by adding green earrings and a metallic clutch to complete the ensemble.
So, what was the big occasion? Turns out, the star decided to spend Monday evening at the 2013 American Ballet Theatre Opening Night Spring Gala. Held at the Lincoln Center in New York, this event proved the perfect opportunity for Ashlee, a former ballet dancer who has continued her love of the performing arts as a spectator.
Ashlee Simpson was certainly not the only celebrity to show up at the gala. She was accompanied by such big names as Lucy Liu, Coco Rocha, Sigourney Weaver, Uma Thurman and Chanel Iman. While many of these ladies also looked stunning, it was Ashlee Simpson’s backless dress that definitely stole the show.
