Brett Favre Packers: Reconciliation coming according to Green Bay CEO

Brett Favre Packers: Reconciliation coming according to Green Bay CEO, Could a Brett Favre Packers reunion be in the works? Don't worry, this isn't about Favre coming out of retirement again. According to NFL.com on May 14, the Green Bay Packers want to mend fences with their legendary quarterback.

reen Bay Packers CEO Mark Murphy spoke to Fox Sports and said that they want to bring Brett Favre back into the Packers family. This would be a huge move because Favre left on very poor terms when the team chose to go with Aaron Rodgers and pushed Favre out the door.

One big moments, according to Murphy, was when Favre and Aaron Rodgers appeared together at the "NFL Honors" in February. None of the mess in Green Bay was Rodgers' fault, but as the man they chose to replace Favre, he ended up stuck in the middle anyway.

In 16 seasons with Green Bay, Favre won one Super Bowl and led them to the postseason 11 times. He was a first-team All-Pro three times and the NFL MVP in 1995 and 1996. He holds the NFL record for most passing touchdowns (508), most passing yards (71,838), and most regular season wins by a starting quarterback (186). He also holds the NFL record for most consecutive NFL starts with 297 games.

Aaron Rodgers also feels a Brett Favre Packers reconciliation is in order, saying that Favre is a lock for the Packers Hall of Fame and wants Green Bay to celebrate his NFL Hall of Fame induction as well when that time comes.
