Charlie sheen brooke mueller custody, Brooke Mueller, ex-wife of Charlie Sheen and mother of his twin sons, has reportedly asked her mother to move in with her upon her release from rehab in an attempt to reinstate custody of her children and her $55,000 per month child support payment.
According to a Radar Online report on May 28, the support payment is the only income Mueller has at the moment, but with temporary custody of her boys being granted to Sheen’s second wife actress Denise Richards she stands to lose the income.
Now, the Beverly Hills socialite has apparently moved her mother, Moria Fiore, into her home to help her care for the children.
Mueller’s children were taken away just weeks ago by the Department of Children and Family Services because of the unsafe environment her drug use created. Richards – who has also cared for the twins on prior occasions - was awarded temporary guardianship of the boys, reportedly with Mueller and Sheen’s approval.
A source tells the website a custody hearing is scheduled for June and Mueller’s mom, “has moved into her home in Tarzana. Moira plans on living with Brooke for the first few months after she gets out of rehab.”
“This won’t be the first time Moira has uprooted her life in Palm Beach, Florida, to help her daughter. Brooke is scared that Charlie is going to cut off her $55,000 in child support, and feels that the judge might give the boys back to her with her mom living under the same roof,” the source added.
“Moira has had visitation with Bob and Max since they were placed in Denise’s care.”
Meanwhile, insiders tell the website the chances of Mueller gaining custody of the children upon her release from Betty Ford are slim because of her long history of drug use.
“The twins are absolutely thriving in Denise’s care and there is absolutely no reason to uproot them.”
