If the latest rumors are to be believed, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have broken up again. Of course, these breakup rumors have surfaced several times in the past year, and they’ve usually been wrong. Given the constant gossip surrounding the state of Miley and Liam’s relationship, it’s understandable that Miley would avoid talking about her love life to the press or on social media and instead focus on the upcoming release of her new single We Can’t Stop. Highlighting her excitement for the single’s release, Miley also emphasized her busy schedule in the following recent tweet: “5 am- 3am then back on the grind at 9.”
According to Us Weekly, Miley’s recent focus on career has more to do with an actual breakup having taken place. This supposed split comes in the aftermath of an intervention staged by Liam’s brother Chris. And the target of this intervention? Liam’s toxic relationship with Miley. The intervention apparently had some impact, for, just a few weeks later, an insider has told Us Weekly, “They are definitely over.”
What makes all of this more surprising is a recent conflicting report that pointed to a huge show of PDA on the part of Miley and Liam. At the time, a source told Us that the pair was spotted getting cozy at a Cyrus party. But this source also added, “They break up, get back together, repeat … they will eventually burn out.”
