‘Y&R’ spoiler alerts for July 8: Cassie returns, secrets begin to unravel, The moment “The Young and the Restless” fans have been waiting for has arrived. The secret that Nick and Phyllis have been keeping from Jack and Summer is about to be revealed.
Sharon has a visitation from Cassie, according to an email from a source at “The Young and the Restless” dated July 6. Nick and Phyllis arrive in Chicago to find Summer. Jack drops by to ask Sharon if Summer said anything specific that may lead them to find her.
Sharon tells Jack that Summer did not say anything specific that would help pinpoint her location. Jack sees the photo album Sharon had been leafing through on the table and remarks how much has changed since Cassie died. Jack reminds Sharon that a parent’s live for their child is “endless, no matter what.”
After Jack leaves, Sharon receives another visitation from Cassie. In the visitation, which could be a hallucination, Cassie is a grown woman. Sharon explains to Cassie that she heard everything Nick said at Cassie’s grave.
It has not yet been revealed if Sharon is having hallucinations because she is not taking her medication or because her medication needs to be adjusted. Whatever is happening, Sharon tells Cassie that she will be for Nick when everyone turns against him
Cassie asks Sharon if she is certain that she wants to put all of her energy into comforting Nicholas. Sharon tells Cassie that she will be there for Nick when no one else will. She will be compassionate and completely understanding. Sharon believes that then their lives will go back to the way they were meant to be.
