“Curtis Jackson denies these allegations as made against him. It is important to note, Mr. Jackson has not been arrested and there is no warrant outstanding for his arrest,” according to the statement [via TMZ].
In fact, the attorney claims that 50 Cent’s camp has been in contact with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office and are conducting their own investigation.
Late Wednesday, it was reported that the rapper had been charged with domestic violence for allegedly kicking his ex girlfriend (and baby mama) at her condo in Toluca Lake, Calif. The 37-year-old faces one count of misdemeanor domestic violence and four counts of misdemeanor vandalism stemming from the June 23 incident.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent has yet to address the matter directly. On Thursday, things were business as usual on his Twitter account. Some 7.39 million of his followers were hit with an update on 50 Cent’s latest YouTube activity (he liked a Brian McKnight video). And according to his Instagram account, the rapper had planned a barbecue at his house for the Fourth of July.
