Couple find stranger showering: Intruder wears only a towel like he's home, A couple, who returned home to find a stranger taking a shower in their bathroom, got even more of a surprise once police questioned the intruder. Susie Kopaska called 911 and her husband restrained the man from fleeing after they came home to find someone they've never met before showering, according to Komo News on July 4, 2013.
Suzie's husband had to ask the man a few times to turn off the shower and come out of the bathroom. When he finally did, Suzie said he was wearing nothing but a towel around his waist like he lived there. This wasn't the end of their intruder story, apparently this Oregon home intruder has been with Suzie and her husband for a while.
It seems 29-year-old La Center, Washington native, Francis Lucero, had been living in a tent in this couple's backyard. The tent was in the backyard drying out and Suzie was flabergasted to think that she and her husband had been sitting on the back patio thinking they were alone and the entire time this man was in that tent hearing all their conversations.
The intruder told police that the homeowner let him stay in the tent in the backyard so he thought it was OK to shower. The couple said they'd never seen the man before, so he was arrested. Lucero now faces a burglary charge and he also has an arrest warrant in Multnomah County for dangerous drugs. His bail was set at $42,500 and he's due back in coutr on July 12.
