Golden Corral dumpster: Food left by dumpster served to customers?, Golden Corral stored food by a dumpster to avoid it being seen by the local health inspector according to a video taken by an employee. On July 7, The Inquisitr reported that trays of raw meat were placed on cookie sheets and kept outside, covered with flies. The employee said that the food would be served to customers who visited the restaurant after the health inspector left.
"What my company likes to do to get ready for inspections is put their food by the dumpster," says Brandon Hubert. "All this food, all these baby back ribs... to me, this is disgusting," he said while filming with what appears to be a cell phone camera.
Golden Corral dumpster gate is now making its rounds on the internet and people -- especially those who frequent the restaurant chain -- are totally grossed out. The chain has responded to the video and said that all of that food was thrown out and none of it was served to customers -- but some are finding that hard to believe.
"This isn’t the first time a Golden Corral has gotten into trouble with its food. In December a restaurant in Wyoming was suspected of causing a food poisoning outbreak that sickened dozens of people. More than 150 cases of foodborne illness were reported near Casper, Wyoming, prompting a visit from health officials," The Inquisitr reports.
