The two-hour event airing Sunday, Nov. 18 at 8 p.m. on OWN won't be just any "Favorite Things" episode, however. For the first time, viewers will have the chance to win selected items during the show
"by texting the correct key word to a short code at designated points throughout the premiere airing," according to the press release. In other words, don't DVR this very important show because live viewing can have its rewards.
The goods you see on the episode will be curated by O herself, along with BFF and O editor-at-large Gayle King, chef Curtis Stone, Michael Kors and Tory Burch.
Loyal "Favorite Things" watchers will recall that the audience at these shows walks away with a considerable amount of free stuff, and this special episode will be no different.
According to the press release, "Oprah and her team honor a group of military spouses from each branch of the Armed Forces who have no idea that they are about to get the surprise of their lives."
