Amanda Bynes, Rihanna feud: Bynes attacks Rihanna on Twitter, Followers of both Amanda Bynes and Rihanna were shocked on Monday after Bynes attacked Rihanna on Twitter for no apparent reason, according to UPI on May 27. Reportedly, Bynes insulted Rihanna in a few tweets over the weekend, which prompted Rihanna to post an appropriate comeback to the troubled retired actress.
For reasons that are unclear, 27-year-old Bynes harshly criticized Rihanna on Sunday in a series of unnecessary tweets that the former "What I Like About You" star quickly deleted. Bynes started the feud with this tweet directed at Rihanna that said Bynes almost named her dog after Rihanna because according to Bynes, Rihanna called everyone and their mother because no one wants to be her lover.
Bynes then went on to say that Chris Brown beat Rihanna because she's not pretty enough, referring to Brown's physical assault on Rihanna in 2009.
On Monday, Bynes quickly withdrew her vicious comments about the singer, saying that she saw those "mocked up" tweets against Rihanna in her mentions. Bynes claimed that she is followed by so many people on Twitter that someone is always mocking up fake tweets and posting them as her.
Bynes also announced on Monday that she wants to re-launch her singing career, saying that her and Rihanna met and she is sure that they will be in a music video together one day. Although Bynes believes there will be no bad blood between her and Rihanna as a result of her insulting tweets against the 25-year-old recording artist and actress, Rihanna shot back at Bynes with "Ya see what happens when they cancel Intervention?"
Bynes has been plagued with bizarre behavior since moving from Los Angeles to New York this past September, including being kicked out of gyms, stealing hairspray and posting multiple controversial tweets and selfie photos on her Twitter account.
Most recently, Bynes was arrested for smoking pot in the lobby of her apartment building and was taken for a psychiatric evaluation before being processed at the police station. Her former "The Amanda Show" co-star Drake Bell reached out to Bynes on Twitter following her feud with Rihanna with, "What's going on girl?!" Bynes replied back with, "ily bro!"
