Filming begins on 'Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters, After several weeks of intense physical training for its principle cast members, production has finally launched for "Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters" in London, England this week.
The Official "Vampire Academy" movie's Twitter handle wrote the following PSA about the now-commencing adaptation of Richelle Mead's vampire series:
This is the big week! Our Producers, Cast & Crew have been working, training & prepping tirelessly - many for months & some for years! As we begin this week I need to remind you all that this will be a closed set. We will share as much as we can, but it's very important to respect the movie making process. Let's show our VAFamily support and patience while they bring the beloved world created by the incredible Richelle Mead to life. #BloodSisters
"Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters" is being directed by Mark Waters and stars Zoey Deutch, Lucy Fry, Danila Kozlovsky, Gabriel Byrne, Sarah Hyland, Joely Richardson, Cameron Monaghan, Sami Gayle, Claire Foy and Ashley Charles.
The film is expected to hit theaters on Feb. 14, 2014, opposite fellow YA book-to-screen adaptation "The Maze Runner."
